In-game ship directory - need help! Will pay in ISK - Very Obscure Ships Request

So I've decided to re-work this in-game ship directory with links to showInfo in-game to update things a bit (it's in beta but it's here: http://gogela.com/eve/ ) and I want to make all the icons for ships removed from the database look like the one I have for the BH Mega Cargo Ship but I'm having trouble finding a screenshot of some of these ships. I figured there might be a hard-core type in GD so here I am asking if anyone has a screenshot or preview shot of any of the following ships:


  • Tyrant (old Nightmare model... check)
  • Marshal
  • Sculpture
  • Sphinx


I would say a decent screenshot of preview icon of one of the above ships is worth about 10 mil isk to me. First to post gets paid.

The others should be fine... I just haven't gotten around to actually DOING them yet.

I haven't updated everything to the new V3 images yet... bare with me. I'll get to that too.

I'm also taking suggestions on any filters or other advice anyone cares to give.

your Harbinger is named Harbanger.

Also you need to not display everything on one page, or at least give an option on a smaller page to view only 1 type of ship (viewing a range of ships with your circular menu is a step in the right direction)

I cannot provide what you want but I just wanted to say that this site is cool. I didn't know there was a ship modelled after a cockroach. This needs to be implemented now.

I don't know what you are talking about, my Amarr tier 2 battlecruiser was always a harbanger.

Nice database, some ships we rarely or never get to see. It would be nice if some of the things people have been suggesting through the ages (ten years) have been tested. Like the corvette and different classes of pods. Its curious how some ships never got to be piloted and others have.

Hell those corvettes and special pods should be implemented :) those two and the Ixion, wich I find sexy (oh and the elite Carthum Coercer...)

Fixed the name there... there are filters to get less than all the ships on the page. There is a menu circling the logo on the left that categorizes things the way I see them, by Battleship class, Capital Class, Frigates (faction + T1 + T2 etc...) and under that logo I'm breaking them out by eve category as you might see in the market. Also, there is a link just above the Freeport Exploration logo that lets you view the old list without images. When I'm done with the EvE 'market' based category filters I'll do some for just faction ships, just CCP-only ships, etc... but it'll be a bit on the latter because I have some RL work to do first Big smile

I agree... that and the Infested Dominix... they could be "Drone Faction" ships! they may want to tweak it a bit though... look at the cargo hold of the cockroach Shocked

Also the Maller on the page uses the old image.

Have you checked the older releases of the resource databases? Take a peek here and see if you get lucky?

Good tip on the Nightmare... that's worth 10 mil I would say. Will get you that via an alt. Out of game functionality is definately a possibility... that's why I re-did this (in part) using CSS. I'll be able to easily add functionality. I plan on putting a small toolbar at the bottom of each image for checking market value or contracts in game for the hull, a popup window for ship history and other notes of interest, and out of game data on a separate button. I may be able to detect browsers though (relatively simple) and have it change the link based on how you are viewing the page (a bit more difficult) but that will have to come later. I realize that the ship images are out of date (the scorpion for instance) but that will also have to wait until I can go through all of the images. Maybe in a week or two I can update them all and add the CCP only ship filter. This is all hand coded but at some point I may be able to jack it into the database. If I can manage that, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to format the entire item database as I have the ships formatted here...

Is it supposed to do something when i click on a ship or it's name ?

I can see a JavaScript in the StatusBar, but there's nothing happening.

Using Opera 11.60.

(no, i won't get a different browser ... i don't use crap)

You don't need a different browser... the links on those ships only work using the in-game browser. I have NOT added an out of game option at this time, but it is planned for a future site "iteration" ;) coming soon™

The Cockroach is the ship that our Bug Hunters use.

The Cockroach is the ship that our Bug Hunters use.


My wife was disappointed to hear that "the only cute ship" can't be used by players.
