Ship Names Were Too Confusing

Your names are too confusing for me too, i have better proposition:

Minmatar small ship-medium ship-big ship-very big ship
Caldari small ship-medium ship-big ship-very big ship
Gallente small ship-medium ship-big ship-very big ship
Amarr small ship-medium ship-big ship-very big ship

And also "small cannon meta 1-5", "medium cannon meta 1-5", "large cannon meta 1-5" and "very large cannon meta 1-5", i am sure it will help new players and make EVE easier for everyone!

I like the idea - however, I expect meta level 1-4 guns to be merged into meta 3 and all being called 'Experimental medium [gun/launcher type] I'

I was going to write a serious reply stating why the ships are named a certain way...

but then I realized you were in Goonswarm and totally agreed with everything you said.

I fully agree, these changes would help new players, but they still don't go far enough.

I would recommend to name the gallente battleships to

Dominix - Battleship Tech 1 - Drones
Megathron - Battleship Tech 1 - Hybrids
Hyperion - Battleship Tech 1 - Failure

....as if 10,058 Goon voices cried out and were suddenly silenced.

Clean out the wax in your ears. I'm only going to say this once.

The difference between two ships can include, but is not limited to, slot numbers, hardpoint numbers, shield and armor strength, velocity, mass, cargo capacity, drone capacity, signature radius and skill requirements.

The difference between a meta 2 1mn afterburner and a meta 3 1mn afterburner is a ~3.7% difference in their max velocity modifiers.

The former is worthy of an independent naming scheme. The latter is worthy of a streamlined naming scheme.

I'll let you figure out why.

The Badger will be called the Caldari Loot Can
The blockade runners will be called by their racial type as the Racial that @#$ Got Away
The Mackinaw will be called the Easy Loot Drop
The Hulk will be called the Harder Loot Drop
The freighters will be called by their racial type plus Giant Loot Can.
