I was just thinking how useful it would be if there was an EFT app for the iPad. I know EFT is a windows program but would be so helpful and time saving if I could mess around with fits so they were ready to use when I get in. I don't wanna carry a massive laptop around with me all day.

Android has the aura app which has a eft like rescource build in but I don't know how much updates it has received.

Some people are working on a browser based eft like program I think its called pyfa or something at evefit.org.

Nah, pyfa is just a multiplatform EFT with an infinitely shiner interface.

Pyfa isn't for iPad

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

All it's missing is an export function.

Oh I didn't realise it used flash, I just drive cars, I don't look under the bonnet.

Retribution still only has one med slot on those shiny interfaced fitting tools though.

Check out eve universe.

It has a fitting tool and all the basic functions (skills, items, skill que, orders, wallet etc) but is also connected to both battleclinic and eve-market.

Can't live without it.

Any idea if they plan to make an iPad version? I know the current version works on it, but I mean one that takes advantage of the screen size and real estate of the tablet. Just curious.

It has nothing to do with flash. From what I know of it (which is admittedly not much), the only language you can use to write apps on iOS is Objective C. Pyfa is written in Python, and EFT is written in...no idea, but almost certainly -not- objective C.

All your comments have been truly helpful, especially grateful for the Aurora link which is a good online fitting tool and also downloading eve universe for the iPad, which looks like exactly what I was after.

Or, you could steal a Windows 8 tablet and run whatever you want in the world on it Idea
You should probably watch out for law, though.
Always spoiling EVE-related fun.
