Another account keeps crashing when I try to log in. Not sure what the issue is but he is in the Umokka station. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Update. Whenever I try to log into a character in a station on any account, I crash. I am able to log into the characters at the POSes. Anyone have a similar problem?

Reinstalled the game and it still crashes. No answers from CCP? Tried everything I could think of but can't get it to work.

Having the same ****, random lag spikes and crashes. Started with new patch, checked firewalls and antivirus, none effecting eve, turned them off to test effect, still crashes randomly

No, although when I set all the grafix settings to minimum, crashes stopped, Im now running the game at slightly less than High Def , and seems better, and most of the other settings are at medium or lo.

Yes, it started after last patch and my clients have been crashing a lot - Didnt have time to investigate yet, but it happend like 4-6 times in the span of a few hours and even after I cleared my cache from ingame. It basically started to occur after crucible 1.1 (occasionally), but since last patch it, like I mentioned, occurs regularly.

It seems to occur mostly when I hit session timers and changing system - after being podded or jumping (both normal and jumpbridge).

edit:
For reference, I play on AMD Phenom II 940, 2x Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 in SLI on Windows 7 x64 with 10Gb RAM with high settings and I usually have multiple clients open. So same nvidia card as a previous poster if thats relevant at all.

There does not seem to be a correlation on the type of system used. Different OD's and graphic cards.Intel/AMD. I have now reinstalled twice and I still can't play. I can't even log into the characters that are in Empire to update the skill queue.

I am one of those guys who subs for a year at a time. 2 subs expire next month. This may be the first time in 25 years of PC gaming I cannot get a game to work no matter what I do. It is such a hard crash, I don't even think reinstalling Windows will work. It also seems the vast majority of EVE players aren't having a issue and CCP is not all over this one, so I don't foresee them fixing it anytime soon. Maybe this is God's way of telling me its time for a break.

Has anyone got further information about fixing this issue?

It's been a while since I can't play and already lost 4 days of skill training.
I made a ticket regarding this and got as an answer how to help devs to fix this and so on.
Call me lazy or all you want, but I almost log in the game to just keep my skill queue working due to time lacking, therefore I am not in the mood to spend more time emailing here and there than I spend time playing.

I was having this issue on some accounts on one machine, but not on another machine. It seems that turning off Eve Voice fixed it.

EVE voice was already off Sad. Thanks though for the suggestion. Also, some people in EVE think it is an object that is crashing me every time I load into empire since I have no issues in wormholes.

this has been an issue with me also I have submitted crash reports from logs.

Out of curiosity is any of you that are getting crashes using ATI Radeon?

Few people in my alliance with same issues using gates / jbs are using ATI like myself so possibly a hardware / driver issue.

Had no more crashes yet since lowering resolution.

Nvidia GeForce GT 220, Windows 7 64-bit. 8gb ram. 25MB cable internet.

Since last Tuesdays patch, client randomly crashes. I've lowered all video to lowest possible, killed all other programs running on my PC. Made sure no one else was in the network (turned off laptop and xbox, changed wireless passwords).

Full malware scans with 5 different types. nothing odd in hijackthis.

PC is running perfect otherwise, can run my adobe illustrator and photoshop at the same time, doing projects with no issues.

It can't be a hardware issue, has to be something in the last patch.

I can be sitting idle in a space station and it will crash, or I can be on a mission with 12 other rats attacking and it'll crash. its completely random and no error logs in windows event viewer, which tells me its an actual eve client crash issue.

I've already lost one T2 fitted BC on a simple L2 mission due to this problem, and there seems to be no real answers as to what causes it or how to fix it.

As I'm new to the game, I can't afford losing 150m isk worth of ship and gear for some glitch. Not like I can just respawn and get it back, its just gone with no way of getting anything back except the tiny insurance.

Not what I consider "fun"

Am posting in this thread as well to hopefully get it more attention. Haven't been able to load eve since the patch hit. Would love for this issue to get some help.
