If so, who might the End Boss be?

I think you make your own goals in EVE so if you decide that a particular thing is your end-game then sure it exists. Otherwise we're all just here to blow **** up, amirite?

The true endgame of Eve is to be elected to the CSM and use that to ruin the game for your enemies

This on occasion has had the unintended side effect of fixing some of Eve's most intractable problems, such as people that log in to the game.

Referring to any CSM in particular here Mara? Are they they End Boss of EvE?

CCP Navigator is the end game boss in EvE, and the forums are the true end game.

I think the end boss is the current biggest/most powerful 0.0 alliance.

Goons "won" EVE when they killed the end boss (BoB). I guess now if you want to win EVE you need to go kill Goons (or PL or... _insert_your_prefered_nemesis_null_alliance_here) to claim victory.

Yes, EVE endgame bosses are very big and hard to kill - their pilots have infinite respawns and instead of a bad scripted AI you get a massive pile of non-artificial intelligence fighting against you. Even Goons resorted to using the "disband alliance" hax button...

This does keep coming up a lot, seems to be attributable to other MMO cultures that have a limited linear growth of gameplay towards an end boss that causes expectations that all games should conform to this pattern.

As a result seems people struggle to dismiss the absence of one and can't properly comprehend or adapt to the freedom and flexibilty afforded to a real Sandbox game like EvE.
