Am I a tease? Yes and i am sorry for that.

A lot of teams will have some very interesting news and blogs coming out in the coming months, focusing on flying in space, and it would be wrong for me to steal their thunder. The Community team will be striving to bring you updates and regular information on a daily basis but please bear in mind that there are things we cannot announce too far in advance.

blue bars everywhere will be something we strive to achieve constantly for you guys.

If you guys stick to your promise...EVE will be saved. And some of us will be happier people.

If not... it's goodbye.

I see it as a last chance thing.

--

To those that are asking me, 'what do you see that is getting better?'.
Simply put: From what I see, CCP has become more proactive, they are listening not only to their wallets but to the users/customers.

That is a step forward, and if this momentum carries them through, it will be great.

I've had my doubts, but again: time will tell

Yo dawg...I heard you like quoting wrongly.

Fear is a newsletter.

Not a company agreement. Get it right.

Every company has an internal newsletter. CCP just has some very provocative employees who like to challenge both ends of the spectrum.

OR HOW ABOUT RAINBOW MINING!!!

/c

Is that mining actual rainbows? Or mining in a rainbow like fashion?

The former would require some design work, providing a suitable water source in space. It is not impossible though.
The latter I think you have perfected.
It's all about supporting the gay community and allowing the colors to flow free Lol The original Backdoor Bandit would approve!

They were never on the wrong track to begin with. Player base likes to cry too much sometimes when they can't get over change and they don't like to adapt to new things. Adapt or die like the saying goes. You know I been here since the great speed nerf and I didn't cry. Not to any one change because I can adapt well. What people have been recently crying about is very silly is all it was just nonsense and overreactions from MT and CQ which is not a bad thing.

the speed nerf was actually good for the game and also not that long ago.

ccp have changed massivly in the 6 and a bit years ive been playing. in the way ive seen it, they have changed from a company of people working on thier passion to random people working on a product. that is the feeling i have at least.

the recent chnages of dev activity while good, dont make up for the feeling they have neglected the 'product' i love to play and be a part off. leaving eve for 18months has been teh wroong thing to do. its left it flatlining and in need of a lot of love.

OMG when can i get a pic here

Would not say they are getting back in the game? No word on any kind of content soon?

But they clearly figured out how to alt-tab so they can all post while we hope they are workingP

We'll see, I'm afraid your going to screw up royally though and basically do to EVE what the NGE did to SWG.

They are not doing anything visible other than building hype for the winter expansion which is still literally blowing in the wind with only outlines put on paper (according to blogs).

Notice how the blue/red spam is condensed in general discussion and does not in fact contain any information but rather generic banter (read: smack, forum whoring) similar to what we ourselves do?

When they start taking their promise (what is it, 4th time they made that particular one?) of better communication seriously then we can talk about them being back in the game, but until then they should be regarded as common trolls as they provide roughly the same quality (and quantity!) of input as trolls.

In short: Increased visibility does not imply greater investment.

To be correct its not the newsletter that leaked, its the email.
Your right its not a company agreement its just what the CEO said, if you would like I can find that link somewhere and quote directly.

Ah then I understand your point. If you are talking about the e-mail, then I agree with you. But one man's mistake does not represent the many people that work EVE. I hope that the EVE Dev team, and all associates are smarter than that. Roll

I hope you are right, but I'm not seeing it. I see an abandoned game managed by an arrogant company that thinks a monthly sub and absurd cash shop scheme is not only ok, its good! I cancelled my alts, and my main will probably follow this month barring some miracle from CCP.
