forgive me... but as players do have many many channels, the fact that this blinks when a channel has new text is a bit ridiculous.

Is there an option which allows you to disable the blinky JUST for the chat icon and not all the rest?

Furthermore, if CCP is checking this out, given the new text search strings that have been added if you wanted to be sheer genius' you could try to make the chat icon only blink when someone mentions your player name! <-- that would be the bestest

yea I agree, I dont mind other icons blinking being turned off, but I MUST see my wallet blink... thats like.. ultra important
