The Rorqual nerfs.... and the super nerfs, were the nail in the coffin.

After the continuous killing of capitals over the years, CCP has problematically hurt the (end) game of the elite and the players with tenure. 3rd Party fighting in null? Hardly a thing anymore... Also, limiting the range of capitals hurt every capital pilot in WH and nullsec space. Elite PvP is dying, if not already dead. If CCP's plan is to maintain a new player base, and not sustain their player base, they desperately need to work on their advertising skills [among others]. It's 2017 and this game rolled out in 2003... put that in perspective. Billions invested and ruining returns and fighting possibilities simultaneously, thanks.

There is no "end game" in EVE, EVE is what you make it, the nerfs don't really affect me much as i never bothered with capital ships in the first place :P

On the one hand, you appear to be memeing about "elite PvP" (a phrase which will never fail to be funny), and on the other, you seem to be actually sincere.

This is really confusing.

Capital ships must be removed from the game... it is not elite or end end gameplay. Elite is when you kill Machariel or Bhaalgorn in T1 frig, not sitting in supercarrier and dropping people seeking for pvp. Get grow child...

From when I was playing circa 2013 on my old character to now, I've seen the following changes.

Allowed fighters to apply well to rats
Added meta, and then faction capital mods
Added more capital specific scale mods (plates, prop mods, cap mods, cap boosters)
Added pure capital logi ships
Added faction capitals
Added supercapital dock.
Added capital rats that are targets for capital ships.
Reduced skill requirements to sit in capitals
Increased speed of skilling towards capitals (skill injectors)
Allowed capitals to gate.
Allowed capitals to mine, and made them the premier miner.

On the negative side

They got space cancer, because ability to third party on the other side of the map whenever one felt like it was extremely oppressive and ensured eve could only really have 2 sides.

Whether they got space cancer right or not, I don't know, but something along those lines was required.
