Sometime around the beginning of June, I've developed a bit of a glitch. Every single avatar picture in the chat window is showing as the outline only 'blank suspect lineup' image. The only way to get those images showing is to switch to another chat tab, then come back. This does bring back the images, but only for the blank ones that were showing in that tab switch. So in, say, Amarr system, I'll get them back 11-12 per switch as I scroll through the entire listing of well over 12 in system.

What I have tried so far that hasn't worked.

Updated GPU drivers.
Updated audio drivers (ya never know!)
Cleared cache from the ESC window menu.
Made sure Launcher was set to download all
Made sure the Launcher was NOT on DX9 (I tried it, no fix there either, back to DX11)
Refreshed Launcher (once again, ya never know...)

I'm reluctant to use (without a direct suggestion from a GM or Dev) the Repair.exe or the check ResCache.exe since those have been known to break more than they fix. Is this a game breaking bug? No. It's a quality of gamelife bug. With that, I'm still going to ask for some help smashing it so I can see all the lovely *cough* faces of fellow capsuleers without getting upset at chat tab flipping.

Exactly same thing - no portraits in the chat unless switch the chat tabs.
Freshly installed client.

Having the same issue since early/mid june and haven't found a fix. Anyone have any ideas?

I've added to my running list of what isn't fixing this glitch, that's all. Running the ResCache.exe does Not solve the missing avatar pics problem. I've found other forum threads that have a mention here and there for this bug, but I haven't stumbled across anyone's reliable fix yet.

CCPlease, may we have chat tab avatar pics back now? Without all the scroll & tab switching to get them? :-)

Just a friendly bump and to confirm that I'm experiencing exactly the same more than annoying issue. What?

Question Only that I think that issue appeared even earlier than around the beginning / mid of June, maybe even after one of the 8 patches post May release 1.0 (119.5 v. 1.0) though can't confirm when that bug really appeared.

I noticed exactly the same glitch appearing on CCP Guard's monitor.

CCPlease, I really do hope for at least an official confirmation that it is widespread bug from any GM / ISD or any other CCP staff / forum moderator and that something will be undertaken in the near future to resolve that issue.

I still haven't found a less frustrating workaround than scrolling the chat tab and/or flipping back & forth to get avatar pics back for each & every login.

CCPlease, some of us could really use a little Quality-of-Game bug smashing down here.
