Tengu was op, so it was nerfed.

Not nerfed enough tbh. Still gets way too much damage for a cruiser.

To be honest I, until they figure things out, I will never fly my Proteus again. My VNI can do just as much if not more for the fraction the price and if I do get destroyed I wont lose any SP. Personally I feel they went to far, I went from having 65k ehp to 20 ehp, crap cpu and/or cap. The whole reason why I wanted the elite t3 cruiser was because it was potentially the best. now it is well under faction cruisers. lol adapt, will do. (wont even fly the junk heap.) Sucks, I was looking forward to what they had in store for the ships. For sure the ships were a little op, no cruiser should be able to solo a carrier, but they went WAY too far.

The point of T3 cruisers was to make them versatile. But versatility should come with a cost--i.e. jack of all trades, master of none. That has already been used in this thread. The problem was that the T3 cruisers were the jack of all trades and master of all or enough roles to make them too powerful.

And yeah, the VNI should be superior in at least some roles. It is a good ratting ship. It can even fit a pretty decent passive tank and with drones and say projectiles it can still tank and do damage when capped out.

If you were using your proteus almost exclusively and in a number of roles...it had to be nerfed.
