Lol maybe not possible, you can match 1 out of 20 sometimes by luck, but most of them are just like guessing game. Even when you get right, you actually don't. http://i.imgur.com/SqoAOjw.png . Not sure, if bugged or just very dumb project.

It worked well on SISI cause we had a small amount of players actually trying, now that its on Tranquility its being flooded by players which are random clicking just for money without caring about accuracy which is messing up all of the data.

Update: Once you get through the first 50 or so samples, the data inaccuracy seems to have normalized.

The game was glitched yesterday in correctly labeling the first 100 or so samples with transits everywhere when the actual light graph had no transits present for most of the samples.

Completely agree. I mean, just how the **** is anyone supposed to correctly identify this ****?

I suggest a review button be added so that we can take a better look after we transmit our inputs. Reviewing the consensus of other players, and the evaluation mode might help everyone better understand what we're looking for when we analyze the data. Once we transmit, it becomes locked and it's difficult to review so no effective way to learn from mistakes or other players inputs. Being able to learn from feedback will go a long way into making this effective.

Yea they really do need to sort this out, im up at rank 72 and I must have passed the point where all I get now are the really hard ones, the ones that are genuinely impossible to identify. I've only had like 1 or two that are somewhat obvious but even then, half of them are wrong.. look at this crap http://i.imgur.com/QS2mBkz.png apparently I'm wrong, it's freaking lower than the correct answer ffs

I had the same when I started out yesterday... then suddenly everything went well 'tll rank 26, and now I get only junk again. I already lost 20% accuracy dropping me down to 60%.

How the **** do you people manage to get to such high ranks so quickly? I can't even get past rank 4, no matter how obvious the dips are it keeps on failing me because I didn't pick out some random section that looks exactly the same as the rest of the sample. Then most of the times I pick out the only dips in the sample it fails me and say they're a false positive.

It's a bloody joke is what it is.

It's not impossible, it's just a lot more challenging than the first Project Discovery. I'm an astrophysicist and have seen plenty of light curves, and even I can't figure out what in the hell they were thinking with a few of these. Sometimes one will fail because it just looked like noise, with one "maybe" signal if you squint really hard and stand on your head. And then they've gone and made an entire series of transits out of it. There are also some weird and blatantly obvious mistakes in some of the evaluation samples, which I'm sure most people have seen by now. To make it worse they've also just completely missed several transits in the evaluation samples! I just had one fail (and I wish I'd taken a screenshot) where it had one enormous transit, but then there was another much smaller transit with I think 6 or 7 relatively obvious signals that they missed. That's pretty **** poor if you ask me.

That being said, most of them do seem to have been done properly. Just keep at it and you should improve over time.

Spc One, you're marking the trough of the stars rotation. It's very improbable the planets revolutions would exactly match the stars rotations.

Seems, like they fixed it mostly, got to rank 43, around 65% accuracy.

Fullscreen would be nice. So would some manual y-axis zooming.
