It would really help to have a youtube video where the project discovery developers (or someone more knowledgeable than me) show came to their conclusion. I'm looking at tutorial #7 right now and I know the correct answer, but I still can't tease it out of the light curve.

I think some of the tutorial light curves are broken. The one with the double transit fails every time on the shallower one.

The whole Project Discovery is a joke. I want someone from their Team solve these on a live stream.

If i see one of their developers solve them i will shut up. Until then: FIX YOUR GAME!

Yea, the last PD was very doable once you learned what to look for, but this thing? Should be done by a computer, if they hope to get any usable data...

The last mini-game I felt I was improving between sample..

But this one, I am just scratching my head to understand what the **** I miss...

When they show the answer and I super zoom it... I dont see any distinctive pattern in the sample, and its seem random between samples.. so it almost impossible to get an accurate answer

Pls CCP... stop trying to simulate real life, put some gameplay vision in what you make so we can have some fun... FUN whats make game, not rewards over a super unclear process

While I initially thought it was pretty cool to "help with science" by doing some little minigame, I have to agree... I know it's great PR and all, but that iteration of PD is rather pointless.

Those are already solved by the planet team and put in to evaluate you. Not sure if the in-game tool was used to do it thou (doubt it).
it feels a tiny bit lacking (y-axis modification would be nice, and more smooth/ round up tools). 25 days is also not enough, when there is a lot of noise and the star is doing weird stuff itself, it might take more transits to find a pattern.
