Need CCP Dev clarification

eve-marketdata.com utilizes an uploader that pulls script from your market cache to upload regional market data to its server database. This is certainly not an EULA violation. However, there is a browser-based tool that can scan the market while you are in-station or away from your keyboard. It does this cycling through items in your client once every 3-6 seconds via commands given by the in-game browser. Is this allowed? Can I utilize this feature without fear of repercussions to an account?

It uses a javascript function provided by CCP to open the market window through the official CCP client, which populates the CCP application cache, which is then read using methods sanctioned by CCP. I don't see where the problem is. At no point is there any 3rd party software interfering with the client.

To be completely sure, my advice is filing a petition and asking the GMs. I think there's a better change of an official answer there than here on the forums.

I have petitioned this. I can't quote GM answer but basically it's OK as long as you are just using official API (e.g. that official javascript call which opens market details for an item). Also cache reading using 3rd party programs is OK.
