So, who does this? Is it worth your time? I read that it's somehow linked to real cell research, so that's pretty cool, but what about in game? Is it profitable? Does it really do anything other than entertain you as a mini game?

Its main function seems to be reminding the playerbase that CCP sometimes adds something to the game then completely forgets about it.

I made several extra million while on freighter runs last night. I rather enjoy it but then I'm also a bit of a biology geek.

At some point I'll have to cash out some AK as well. Not that there's much novelty in the combat suits anymore. Maybe some antipharmikon for personal use....

On routes with 30 jumps or more it is a nice pasttime... easy way to make some money while traveling through the cluster.

I've been using it to fund my Alpha account.

It's okay money if you get good at it.
I'm at 94% accuracy. So 94k isk every few seconds when I'm not getting them wrong and messing up my accuracy.
Depends how fast and accurate you are.

15 seconds a slide is like 20m am hour or so. 30seconds a slide 10m.
And you get armor/clothes facial implants you can sell on top of that.
Easy low risk money as long as your not trolling and just spamming wrong answers.
Gives you something to do between jumps or sitting in station, or while mining.

I'm at level 60 currently, so I get around 5-6k analysis kredits everytime i level up.

99.0% and level 146

Tip: Only pick one item per slide if you are unsure. If it was a test slide, you are penalized for mistakes, and most test slides are one or two items (three are rare), so if you get one right you either get an accuracy boost, or remain unchanged.

I get 2s and 3s pretty regularly, only time I get a pass/fail slide wrong is when it's a dense green spot outside the nucleus, diffuse structure outside the nucleus, or the single or double spot in/out of the nucleus. It tells me im wrong those everytime no matter what to the point i just pick them at random when i get a slide that even looks like it might be one of those three. I get it right more often then when i actually zoom in and pick the answer it most closely resembles. Not sure why. I was stuck at 40-50% before I stopped trying at those. They're the only answers i legitimately think ccp havr messed up or mislabeled. Rest are pretty easy to pick out most of tge time.

I tried it a couple times, but I learned I'm really bad at doing cell research, so I stopped.

Honestly, a good idea. I'd do the same on long trips if I were any good at this, but instead of getting frustrated looking at weird blobs I prefer a good book or YouTube to Project Discovery. P

I found that out real quick, it's a waste of my time since I'm either picking the wrong one or not enough (2-3). Not gonna sit here (frustrated), trying to figure out it. I'll take the book option!

I haven't been doing it much since that post but I'm at level 70 and sitting at 98% accuracy now.
It's like an atm for small bills. Definitely better money than alpha venture mining.

Can't wait for the exoplanet one. I hope they come out with new items since I already have 15000 kredits saved to get a small head start on new outfits. Hopefully something amarr themed combat armor with a thick coat.

I'm guessing you never bothered clicking the link in the first place, otherwise you wouldnt have made the mistake of asking that question.
