Unsubbing to get forum notifications

There is this one forum thread that keeps spamming my notifications, i never want to get notification from that again. How do I do this?

Go to said forum thread, click on 'Edit', uncheck 'Receive notifications' and profit!

Make a post in that thread (or edit an existing post) and uncheck the notifications tick box.
