make loot boxes and sell USD and/or ISK up to you.

boxes contain something like....
-junk to rare bpc form frigate to Vendetta
-rare ship skins that had buffer to ships and cannot sell.
-item that could rush manufactoring time ..and many thing like reduce material to build something.
-insurance ticket that could cover all hull&items in that ship.
-and many thing depend on your imagine.

It should be better than nerf this nerf that try to fix something that does not broke . A good engineer is not the guys who try to fix everything but a guy who know which one had to fix which one doesn't need to fix.

No no, you make lock boxes drop everywhere, but you have to buy keys with Plex.

They could even have boxes give a guaranteed amount of consolation currency, maybe bringing back Aurum, with its own store of weaker versions of prizes.

Source: I also play Cryptic MMOs.

It should be obvious but: this kind of thing is not in the spirit of Eve. I actually don't mind (and sort of enjoy) lock boxes in Star Trek Online, but that's a theme park MMO, not a sandbox/simulation.

Please proceed to the nearest biomass tube in your vicinity and then leave for a game that actually has this freemium business model.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Anybody remembers how you could get those dailies more than once a day? I blame the poor implementatin and legacy code on why it was removed, aside from it did not making people play more.

It's funny how every time CCP changes something, someone pops up and proclaims that it's about CCP wanting more money.

- If CCP dares to0 touch anything in high sec it's because "CCP wants to force me to go to null sec, where I will lose ships and have to buy plex to keep up!".

-If CCP fixes an obvious and unsustainable thing in null sec its because "CCP wants me to skill inject into something else so they can make money"!!

etc etc etc. It's human nature of course, when someone takes something (even imaginary space ship game money) from someone, that someone tends to want to blame it on some kind of greed on the part of the taker. You can never explain to them that what is being done is not only for the best of everyone, but eventually it will help YOU not have to work so hard to accomplish a lot of goals (because the only reason you are working so hard NOW is because that unbalanced thing makes other things cost more).

Some of us tried in vain to explain this to high sec folks when talking about PVE income balance. Their response was always "Just Buff Null if you want more money". CCP "just buffed null" instead of wholistically balancing PVE income and it damn near killed the economy.

At leastthey are fixing the worst part of it. Now's the time for them to also attack all forms of drone based afk ratting and then they can finally get around to smashing those outrageously safe high sec wealth faucets too. THEN we'll see much better economic outcomes in EVE.

I lol'd at that one. No space is as safe as nullsec.

We had these in Dust514
Towards the end of the game I had thousands of unopened boxes.
Be careful what you wish for.
