oh no

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

That sounds like a very noble endeavour! I wish you the best of luck, and I hope your efforts succeed at mending some of the rift between the two nations.

Hmm, first guri, now Federal lapdog.
At first I thought one couldn't fall lower, but, surprises, surprises.

If my memory doesn't fail me, I think I did notice her pro-federal stance earlier, when she was still pretending to be Caldari. I probably could have called her a traitor, but... well, that fact happened already quite long ago.

Now it's not even a treason. It is just degradation.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

I'm not sure how someone managed to surpass me in meta commentary and actions but color me thoroughly impressed.

I don't care what you think, as long as it's about me.

You'd have to actually do something first.

Oh ! I know the answer to this one !

Mies is, for some reason, a hotbed of Federation high society shenanigans and chicanery. Polymarriages, scandalous affairs, revelations that someone is actually someone else masquerading as them, evil identical twins, interfering mothers and mother-in-laws, people coming back from the dead, and similar kinds of events. A lot of it revolves around a few particular high society clans, though it seems to be a widespread phenomenon among the ordinary citizenry as well.

Mies. Not even once.

The overly self important legalese says caldari. The self righteous self aggrandizement says gallente... DEAR GODS!!! it's just like the old fortune teller prophecied. It is the hybrid of smug. This is truly the end times, we shall all be drowned in the self righteousness. Quick, flee for the hills and hide your slaves!

Once again, I'm so happy I'm oblivious to these things, most of the time.

Huh... Yes! How awful! Yup, just terrible. What sort of person would associate with those two particular groups at the same time!

Also, please don't go to the Crux constellation. That's sort of my turf, you know? Not that I ever leave station or anything... I used to do oddjobs in Mies at one point!

Ms. Kuruwi,

I'm just a simple girl from Nonni with some legal background. The fault-lines between the State and the Federation remain complex and involved -- far more complex and involved than just a citizen of Vessault such as myself could ever hope to resolve.

I am certainly no corporate or political operative involved in the affairs between either side.

However, should you ever wish to discuss the topic in person I would be most happy to oblige you.

Mrs. Pryce,

Because I am a citizen of Vessault-on-Mies.

To elaborate, I enjoy the culture of a First Foundation colony laid down by Morthani patriots and consider themselves first and foremost Vessaulti. I enjoy the cosmopolitan lifestyle of the city and its broad range of diversions. Whether it's watching the district teams playing in the monthly melees not for wealth or sponsorship but simply for the glory of their own district; or just time at a cinema to watch the old classics.

That, and it remains a financial hub well connected economically.
