Seems to be working just fine. I like it.

And here comes the "but":

- Please put the networth summary in a different place.

The character sheet tends to load for a very long time to generate my makeup, hair and it seems that women are always late because they need so much time to be "presentable".

Okay that may be true but if you could put it right next to the character tab where your skills, jumpclones and the like are shown just in a new "networth" or "summary" tab that would be even more awesome.

That way, I don't need to load my presentable self and can keep that collapsed at all times - which speeds up the character sheet loading a ton.

Thank you for your consideration.

Looks cool, would it be possible to add a value of your SP? Either straight ((SP-5mill) / 500,000) *Injector price, or the net of (((SP-5mill) / 500,000) *Injector price) - (((SP-5mill) / 500,000) *extractor price)?

Lobotomy sticks are new and have no impact on your estimated ships and modules pricetags. This is unnecessary and should have never been released.

You have to expand the view on the sheet to show your character on top of the sheet.

Hi,

Could this be expanded so that on the asset screen it show not only the station, # of items and jumps bit also the value of the items at that station.

As a trader/hauler/collector there have been countless times I've wondered if I should make a stop at a station to pick up the various items based on isk value.

While knowing my total net isk worth is helpful it doesnt allow me to see where that is is directly located

I was looking forward to seeing this in the release today, but there is no Net Worth listed in the character sheet?!

Hello again! Thanks for all the great feedback and suggestions, we will keep it all in mind if/when we iterate on this feature in the future.

First of all, sorry about the confusion: we delayed the release of this feature by one week. It is now back on singularity however, so please log on and take a look if you are interested, and please consider joining us in mass testing the feature tomorrow. More info here.

Now to answer some of your questions.

Luc Chastot wrote:
Any chance we get to see the combined value of modules and hull for fitted ships? Fleet hangars, for instance, only shows the combined value of all hulls, but not fitted modules, which sometimes is considerably higher than former.
Yup, all fitted ships and modules are counted so long as they belong to you (and not to your corp for instance).

Althalus Stenory wrote:
Even it's a really cool feature, the current way to calculate it seems... wrong.
We are aware of this, it is because market data on the Singularity test server is not reliable. This issue will not be present once we release the feature to Tranquility, where market data is more reliable.

Captain Panther wrote:
will this breakdown be available only in character window or a wallet window too?
Only in the character sheet.

Robdon wrote:
Will it also include an estimate of the value of your Loyalty Points?
And also Research points...
I'm afraid not, those cannot be traded on the market and as such don't have average market prices for us to utilize for estimation.

Rivr Luzade wrote:
While you are at it could you please have a look item price estimations in general? I have a station with a Fortizar, Azbel, Astrahus and Raitaru BPO in the hangar but only the Azbel and Raitaru BPOs have a price estimate.
We are completely excluding all blueprints from the feature, since most blueprints cannot be traded on the market, making our value estimation data unreliable for those items.

As long as you are doing asset value stuff, here is a feature request (yes it's out of scope for this current effort):

Item sort by value.

We can sort by type, name, and quantity. Sort by values would be handy.

Use: When looting containers, and my ship runs out of room, I can sort by value and only loot the best stuff. Right now you have to go through item by item to find the stuff to toss.
Another use: Sorting loot to find the cheap stuff to reprocess.
Another use: Sorting out the good stuff that's worth the time to set actual sell orders for, rather than lazy mode bulk sell.

While the idea is worthwhile as a new built-in sort option, inventory filters provide a solution for the problem described right now. They just need to be built to your taste: you want to add a new filter for "estimated unit price" greater or less than a target amount. Once enabled, a filter applies to each new wreck opened... important to remember if you wonder where your stuff has gone, later. (The count of items displayed in the lower right will indicate # items filtered from view.)

So, just a small thing, why not simply include this on the asset window?

If the reason is because of not wanting it to recalculate each time the window is opened, then put a timer on recalculation, for example, it will only recalculate if it has not calculated it all within the last 5 minutes (or 10, 30, 60 w/e it takes to reduce the load).

In addition, if you are not already, you could use logical comparisons to cull the amount of data that needs to be recalculated each time.

For example, each container (or each location, or both) could have data saved representing the last time it was changed, an item was added or taken from it, and data representing the total estimated value it contained last time it was calculated. If the container has not changed since last time it's value was calculated, then it simply returns the previous value. Then simply set it up to force a recalculation of each container/location each time the market data is updated (since its not frequently) or simply something like once a day.

With a process like that and a timer of say, 5 minute between checks, you could severely reduce the total number of operations required.

Also, if you already have the values associated with each container/location from the last check saved, you could have each location/container include their estimated contained value as a column. Which IMO would be damn cool.

Not sure if it was just a one-off fluke, but I thought I'd let you know I replied to EBR-115120 (and in my haste completely failed at replying, but I think the message got through).

tl;dr: My issue definitely persisted for over five minutes :)

I think this is a real problem.

I know it's not possible to actually seriously assess the present market value of a researched BPO, but at the very least I *strongly* urge you to set prices as follows:

- BPOs: Value at NPC price
- BPCs players have created: Value at 0
- Faction BPCs: Value at 95% of the finished item price, minus materials cost, minimum 0.

So for that last one a Rattlesnake hull sells for 364m and the materials price is 135m.

0.95 * 364 - 135 = 213m would be the displayed value.

That will cover the vast majority of high value BPCs in existence in the game as they are mostly LP store items and rat drops.

You have to expand the view on the sheet to show your character on top of the sheet.

Speaking of which... I usually check my character sheets each night before I log out to make sure the proper skill is training, see how much time is left, etc. etc. (edit: this does not happen when I first log in and hit alt-A, btw... it only happens hours later when I'm logging out... so weird!)

Before this new feature, I left the character part (aka "that bit at the top that shows your toon's face unless you collapse it") collapsed nearly all the time. And I never saw it unless I specifically expanded it. I was there mostly for the skillqueue and the overall skill point counter/counter by category...

But after this new net worth feature has been introduced (on TQ now, I mean), every single night I open my character sheet the toon face/net asset worth section autoexpands and I have to wait through 5 seconds of lag per account to re-minimize it so I can get on with checking my skillqueue and close it and log out and get some sleep.

Which would be just slightly annoying. Except the first night I noticed this issue, I didn't know it was going to happen, so I hit the character sheet keyboard shortcut on 3 toons at once... and it lagged up my eve clients so badly it caused them not to respond and I had to kill them in the end.

In short: I love the new feature, but I want to choose when to see it and not have that panel auto-expand. Please give us back our "character part remembers whether you want it collapsed or expanded" stickiness, CCPlease!

My networth shows at 36 billion which is at least 4 times what i have. Ive extracted and reinjected numerous times on this toon. Could this have something to do with a bogus figure like this?

Anyone else experiencing huge incorrect networths??

Could i petition to have my networth assesed on my actual skillbooks and assets??

Hello!
Could you please submit a bug report regarding this? Press F12 in the game to do this, and please try to include a screenshot of your Total Net Worth as it is displayed in game. We will look into it and get it fixed as soon as we can Blink

Filing a petition would not help with this, customer support cannot change how your net worth is displayed to you.
