New Stars no sunspots?

Hey CCP. Love the new stars. But, what's with the no sunspots?

Sunspots are still really hot, and really bright. You wouldn't be able to see them.

Stars are managed to control and eliminate instabilities that may cause damage or even kill populations of planets. STAR spots won't be present because of the technology used to maintain stable stars.

Tell that to the vast number of astronomers that have been observing our sun and drawing pictures of its sun spots since around 800 BC.

All you really need these days is a telescope and a very dark set of welding goggles, or a reflected image of the sun as they did in the 1600s iirc.

I'm sure with the current in-game technology it wouldn't be too much trouble designing a set of filter's to see sunspots in all their spotty glory.
