o/ Eve!
Back to eve after a 4 year break, had a lot of fun with worm hole corp back then, incursions and missioning prior. I have a limited play schedule, maybe 1-2 hours ~ 01:30-03:30, 2-3 x week, and somewhat unpredictable. Looking for a way into some PVP that is low cost (IE < 1-2 billion in ISK losses/month) without committing to long fleets or ops. Anyone have suggestions? Am thinking to try faction warfare which I did awhile back when I first started playing eve and found was rewarding, but hadn't had much experience then. I'm thinking it might be a good way to pvp on a limited schedule.

(Don't want to do anymore PVE, neither sleepers, incursions or missions, no ratting or PI, no mining, no industry, no trading.)

Also, who should I vote for in CSM to support the new player, casual experience, eve uni, small scale PVP, wormhole, and the little guy plexing his own budget who doesn't have the desire to log long hours to make ISK?

Currently trying out Red Verses Blue then might join eve uni for the nullsec experience, or one of the other corps such as Brave Newbies!

RvB is a good choice, there's also NPSI groups like Redemption Road, Spectre Fleet and Bombers Bar for casual pick up PvP roams etc; you'll have to check timezones though.

If you fancy shooting fish in a barrel and don't care about security status CODE. are another group that always welcome some extra DPS 24/7, regardless of what corp you're in. Given that they're made up of people from all over Eve you'll probably make some contacts that'll come in handy if you ever decide to move on to somewhere or something new.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Looking to get into Eve casual PVP with limited play time.

Anyone out there with solo PVP / pirating Pirate experience have suggestions for someone looking to find a way into quick content with some causal PVP on a limited play schedule of a few hours a week?

Quick update: Last couple months RVB has been good for some pickup fleets, events, and fun folks Big smileon coms. When not many corp mates online 0100-0300 I've had a little luck with solo PVP in Blackrise nearby Jita. There have been days when I bounce around Blackrise for an hour without finding a fight Shocked. I'm mostly doing solo pvp pirating in faction warfare Novice plexes in a frigate, so was thinking of moving up to Small in a dessie such as a talwar or t3 dessie such as a confessor. I generally try to stay in blackrise faction warfare and avoid the Nourv gate in tama, lol. nice thing about the frigates is I'm not caught by gate camps solo. Ships I've found worked for me so far have been the tormentor and navy comet, but would like to learn something more kitey like a worm, beam slicer, or tristan.

My sense is that with my limited play time I will do best staying in lowsec and avoiding nullsec stuff, although it sounds really fun in Agonoy Unleashed and Brave Newbies, but I fear nullsec may mean longer fleets and gate camps. With a kitey ship I may be able to enter larger plexes for more engagement opportunities to get more content. It has been hard to join fleets such as Redemption Road, Bombers Bar, Spectre due to far distance from RVB space near Jita and Blackrise to the fleet start points and the limited play time I have, although I could be putting jump clones at their start points and will work on that as their fleets are weekly recurring.

If anything my budget has been ample because I haven't been finding as many fights as I'd hoped. Just 5 solo kills but many more losses. And many more fights that resulted in a warp off due to poor tackling on one or the other side. Above all else I'm trying to find more fights!

I've also been getting to know some of the local pirating corps in Blackrise such as Holie Cookie, Salt Farmers, but have to watch out I don't get baited and caught by their fleets.

Cheers and thanks again for the tips!

Add Menzoberranyr to that. Covert ops NPSI that will kick off again in 3 weeks after a 3-year break.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

I have to be careful here as its my current corp. I've found some good people! I'll just say that there's often not anyone around when I can login 0130-330 eve time. But you can see the killboard and make up your own mind.

How is it not? There are players in both ships, there is a disagreement between them, and force is used.

That's pure Eve PvP.

I wasn't an involved party in that operation, but my understanding is Code exceeded all of its own objectives, including the destruction of a significant number of AT ships via interdiction of a hauler.

Technically, Dunkirk was a withdrawal for the British, but strategically it was a victory for them.
