And tbh, the only times Uedama is dangerous are when Jason or freighter fleets are around.... otherwise it's just me and my lone self that's there lol

Nonetheless, the only way both parties would be satisfied IMHO for a location is 1. Be out of one's home system and 2. Both contestants in same fleet, along with a referee as fleet boss in a safespot made by the ref.

I'm not doubting anybodies ability or honesty. Simply how clear headed either of you are actually being about this. Several people haave suggested ways to go about this but unless BOTH of you are willing to go down one of those routes this will be another 4 pages of "No your Mum" quality back and forth. Honestly I wouldn't be inclined to choose either of your rulesets for reasons Big smile

On that fight between me and Tengu Grib, we fit the "Crowd" (two ibises) with a blaster and a railgun each.

It's a stupid fit, but trying to maneuver to give yourself the advantage took a lot of thought and active flying. We all know how to maneuver to a range/angular to select our own relative advantage between two different ships.

In a bizarre fight where it's unclear what your advantage is, you really have to put a lot of effort into timing shots and maneuvering well. The winning strategy here was essentially dive bombing(flying at the opponent firing when close, then running away) and timing the blaster shots.

I'd totally support armor (or amour) birds. In my mind, that's a technical fight.

It's no longer a test of piloting skills, it's a test of "which one of you can pay off someone to kill a pod faster" skills. More of a duel of C&P skills if you will. Skullduggery, subterfuge, strategy, that sort of thing.
