Well, Naxor, your first lesson is that, in Eve, we don't have Clans. That's WoW stuff. Here we have corps. Best advice I can give, Newbro to Newbro, is forget everything you've ever known or learned about MMORPG's. None of it applies to life in New Eden. Despite how it might appear reading through the treasure trove of posts in this forum, New Eden is really full of people that will trip over themselves to help the New guy, provided you display a good attitude and a desire to work for all the Eve has to offer. I suggest that as you become more knowledgeable and experienced...and braver, go out into the universe and explore. You're going to die, but that's ok. Embrace that fact and you'll do well. And when you do get killed; not if, but when, talk to the guys that did it. You'll find most will be happy to tell you what you did wrong and give some tips on how to get better. You may also end up with an invitation to join the corp that was killing you. Again, it's ALL about attitude. If you whine and cry every time you get smoked, or just expect folks to hold your hand all the time, without putting in any real effort on your own, then you may find Eve to be more frustrating than fun. Go out in the Universe and be the content you want to see, and you will likely excel.

Good Luck. I hope you find a home here for a long time.
