For making it even more impossible for new players to afford to get a month of the game via playing and affording skill injectors, thank you for fixing something that was not broken, thank you thank you.

But I mean that was the point right? throw in some smaller plex packages make it seem like your not spending that much money... can't quite hit that skill injector because we (CCP) ruined the economy? can't quite make 1 billion 500 million isk per month because we (ccp) ruined the economy? BUY OUR PLEX!!! BUY BUY BUY!!!

Plex is a luxury item. Always has been. If a slight increase in price means you can no longer afford the luxury. Then frankly you couldn't afford it to begin with. Also the price of caviar is getting rediculous.

Really? And where exactly did you pull that number from? And where do you figure all of the plex on the market are coming from?

It is a luxury item in the purest sense. Some people buy plex with cash in order to afford the luxury of not needing to rat or mission or mine when they play. Others use them for the luxury of keeping multiple accounts running by trading their IG profits for it.

Especially now that alphas allow you to play for free, there is absolutely zero argument that it isnt a luxury.

It makes you angry that you've discovered that EVE is worth subscribing to ?

Also the slope on plex prices is one of the most predictable things in game. It has trended that way from 300m isk for a months sub to where it is now over many years.

The players are the ones to blame. They're the ones driving the price of PLEX up by buying PLEX off the market. If they stopped buying plex, the price would drop. CoolHTFU

It's either impossible or it isn't. If it wasn't before, then it can't be more now and if it was before, then it also can't be more now.

I don't think hes the idiot here friend, its a fact that a majority of the players of eve OMEGA their account with a subscription, because its cheaper than going OMEGA with plex. SImple as that, not saying that there aren't people that omega their account with plex, yes that is still a thing. But the fact is CCP has even said that a majority of the playerbase goes omega via subscription, because it is quite cheaper (or atleast for me) than it is to buy plex and omega with that, Plex is used most of the time by players as something to buy with real money and sell ingame for ISK, if they don't want to grind to earn the isk. Simple as that.

thanks to power creep and increased income sources plex is relatively cheap, something like 5-10 hours for most end game activities. Of course for new players there are less ways to keep up but imo chasing a plex as a new player is a rather silly endeavor as it just results in a lot of grinding. I paid my main account for most of the first 8 years I played. Alt accounts were paid for or plexed depending on various situations. As someone said, plex is a luxury.

also quite simply, if players in general couldn't afford plex, then the prices wouldn't be going up. And the plex split may have sped up the price jump as players reevaluate plex's value, it by no means did something that didn't fit the plex pricing trends.

I have been using the training system since 2003. Training over time. I started the game when it had no tutorial and you have to earn every isk via blood and sweat and some serious out-and-out piracy. We didn't have anything over tech 1 back then and Battleships were not even in the game yet. When battleships did get in the game they were being eaten alive by thoraxes floating 10 ogre drones.

I don't think I can; with good conscious feel any sympathy for you.
