Ascy, I'm about one step away from packing as many of the biggest guns New Eden knows of as possible onto a single ship, so I can appreciate the appreciation of firepower and liberal application of violence where applicable. This however doesn't change a rather important fact for us capsuleers: We can't kill an idea, largely because we can't kill the people holding them.

I could easily set my deathclone somewhere within your reach, undock, die, undock, die from now until the station fell apart and you would not be able to break the continuity of my mind nor my ideas. Given sufficient time and maybe someone to pay for the ammunition, you could potentially - eventually - destroy most of my assets if I for some unfathomable reason decided to bring them into harms way and even if that impossible eventuality occurred I would still be perfectly able to work my way back up to fully operational within a fraction of the time it took me to get here now.

Capsuleers are physically unbreakable in this regard. Wardecs? Perpetual campaigns against us? Doesn't work. Worst case scenario and most of Eve turns against us, we can just pack up and go somewhere else, starting anew.

Your lasers are quite literally incapable of even targeting the ideologies, philosophies or ideas I carry and have no effect on them. No matter how many of them you managed to scrounge up.

Now, I've used the saying "If you can't solve your problems with violence, you didn't apply enough violence" before, but it's to a degree rather tongue in cheek. It works when your problem isn't practically immortal and easily capable of rebuilding anything you destroy.

Since your message seems to relate to what I mentioned earlier, I can only assume that 'Ascy' was directed at me.

"It works when your problem isn't practically immortal and easily capable of rebuilding"
It's simply a matter of scale.
If one is dealing with an infestation of fedos, then the scale would be some product of number of fedos, space they are in, lifespan of fedos, and their ability to multiply. In a hangar container, a decent fire would sort the problem out.
If one was sieging a city, it would be some product of the size of the city, defenses, their stockpile of food/munitions and their ability to repair or reinforce. Using the same fire from our fedo-infested hangar container would be futile.

Capsuleers are practically immortal. It's a stretch to assume that we are actually immortal. We've both seen many disappear even with what would have seemed a reliable cloning contract with a reputable provider.
Given that we are in the presence of those who have lived hundreds of years even before cloning was common place, I would say that our "immortality" is no more assured in the 14 years since the common use of capsule technology as it was the thousands of years prior. We are harder to kill via traditional methods.

Given the time the Empire has existed in it's current form (space-faring, stretching across hundreds of star systems) is such a small fraction of our actual existence; It's safe to say that what we you are calling "Immortal" could be as fleeting as a fedo-infested cargo container to the God's plan.

Capsuleers have already found ways to push the limits of relativity just by pushing mass numbers of drone-like capsuleers into a system. I'm not sure if I will live long enough to find out what the amount of firepower required to destroy the Sabik ideal might be, but I know God's Chosen will be.

And as much as it may surprise a few, I do have a sense of humour.

This is just a patently ridiculous statement on its face. Look, without any shadow of a doubt, Goonswarm is the single most experienced, most frequent, and most extreme purveyor of relativistic time-dilation effects, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that no, drone-like is not even remotely an accurate comparison.

Drones do what you tell them to. They're at least a little bit useful.

That is all well and good, but doesn't address the point. Our ideas can't be purged by fire. One capsuleer can't actually kill another. Of course, on a sufficiently long timescale everything may change, entire nations - and their ideas and ideologies - may be consigned to oblivion but that's not the scale we operate on today, nor in this context.

We capsuleers, whether we be members of PIE, Goons, school corps or whatever else, are as far as containers and vessels for ideologies and philosophies... fairly invulnerable.

Lasers and autocannons can help drive the point home, but if you want to get at the idea you're going to have to employ far more difficult weapons. Reason, guile, deception or immutable truth. I have no proficiency in applying any of those to other people, and it would appear the same applies to most of us out here if history is any judge, but these are still the only weapons that'll get at an idea.

Again, context and scale matters here. New Eden has changed since those days, and we're talking about what we do as capsuleers.

Verbal opposition counts for nothing, young pup. I am as ancient as the soil you were born on. Countless billions have perished in my time in space alone. I have fought empires and won... and lost. I've seen your kind glitter and dye faster than the lives I've reaped over and over and over again. Their blood stains my armada - my weapons - my hands - my soul. I am awash in their very existence for all eternity.

To me, you are no-one.

An amendment: It also includes a select group of people who don't frequent highsec and do have the ability to fight back. These groups can be brought up whenever someone accuses them of only going for soft targets, but aren't a risk because, frankly, they can't be arsed and have far more important things to do than chase wartargets around kspace, including but not limited to "literally anything else but that". If people bring this up, you simply deflect with silly excuses such as "we don't have to hunt the people we said we'd be hunting".

Is that more accurate?

Yep! Close to the point. It's important to declare war on all those who are in opposition to the Sabik faith, except for anyone who may have any sort of power base, including ARC, or PNS, because those smaller groups? They're more dangerous, really. There's never been a time where a six-man gang, half of which are nearly day-old pilots out of the blue, which is mysterious and odd, can easily drop, blap a ship, and warp again. Haha, oh wait, that's super easy to do. They're just lazy.

ARC and PNS are two groups I am familiar with and two groups who are currently working towards ends that I approve of, including the destruction of Nauplius' Citadel. Nauplius is, obviously one of the Red God cretins the demise of which I seek. Ultimately, why would I bother to join the horde attacking him when they're already more than capable of doing it with existing forces?

I refer you to my combat record if you think I'm scared of groups that can fight back. Of course, that history always gets conveniently ignored the moment I reenter empire space.

Haha, what? Why declare war on the groups that provide logistic support and the numbers needed to take care of the citadel, then? You don't even know me, or my corporation, and I doubt the flurry of completely suspicious new hires who, for whatever reason, are likely injected with skills to actually have given a ****. You're trying to jerk yourself off as a righteous cause for some Sabik nutjob B.S. while not aggressing on corporations that, given the chance, would purge you from their respective nation in droves.

Stop waggling your killboard around like an oversized clitoris. Yes, I checked your combat history. Yes, I don't care.

EDIT: Just realized something.

Groups you're familiar with? Like, I-RED? The group you're warring with now - that you fought ALONGSIDE for some boyish Merc for 'Caldari honor' and whatever? Wait, hold on, let me pull a few quotes of you threatening people from that one thread. You remember it, right?
