Fit I currently have is this. My question is will this ever go against a PvE fit BS or not.
Corrections on the fit will be nice too.

looks like it's gonna lack damage but at least you can choose damage type to hit his weakness
just check what rats hes killing and go for the hole

I'm not far from T2, would T2 make it a lot more easier? Or does it still lack some DPS

t2 with hail has much better dps but youre gonna have to sacrifice some buffer and it could still take a while to break his tank so it depends how much time you have
it all depends on the situation but it seems like an ok fit to me

Use a sheild buffer cane (3-4 Gyrostabiliser, 1-2 Tracking Enhancer and DC in lows). Use whatever ammo they aren't tanked against (look at what rats they are shooting, D-Scan the mission pocket and you will see what npc wrecks are appearing), get under their tracking and overload. A full gank shield cane (7-800 dps not including drones) will kill most T1 pve tanks pretty damn quick especially off damage. I speak from experience killing many lowsec missioning. It was a fair few years ago, but should still stand up.

If you can afford, use the Hurricane Fleet Issue with two medium neuts.

Thanks for the suggestion. Can you post a fit for me please? I can't seem to get even close to 700 DPS using EFT.

Reaven asked, "My question is will this ever go against a PvE fit BS or not."

No.

That fit has poor dps, but it has a great tank. You won't be able to break the tank of the BS.

EFT says you don't even have 300dps, and that's with skills at L5. The tank is about 88000EHP, which is a lot.

I have an older version of EFT, and at L5, there wasn't enough room for all those mods.

You may last a little while, but eventually a PvE BS, will prevail.

Regular cane fit. That is tight on fitting 0.5 cpu and 6.4 grid left. Obviously if you don't have T2 guns fitting will be a little easier I think so other stuff should fit. But without drones and heat that is 689 dps. With heat and 3 Infils and 2 Acos it's 910 dps. The Large ASB gives you more shields off just one full load than another extender.

With a Fleet Issue Hurricane you can do basicly the same fit with two medium neuts. great for beating cap hungry PvE active tanks. Or because it has tracking bonus can probably use another gyro instead of a tracking enhancer or Signal amplifier to boost locktime/sensor strength or a nanofiber to increase speed agility etc.

Can use a Warp disruptor instead of scram to increase chance of getting range before target warps. But then if it has MJD you won't keep it there as it waltzes off into the distance.

Really don't need 2 tracking enhancers against a BS sized target.
I'd change one or both of them out for something else.

Missions in what section of space is the questions no one is asking here.

In high sec even a poorly tanked T1 BS will have enough tank AND enough capacitor to survive a single Hurricane until Concord ends your party. While we are on the subject tanks over 1,000 DPS are not uncommon in high sec BS mission ships and if that ship is a marauder then tanks well over 3,000 DPS are possible with little sacrifice to their DPS output.

If they choose to fight back be careful of the missile ships, those with turrets may not be able to hit you very effectively but the missile ships will hammer you pretty hard, even with a typical T1 missile fit they will have well over 500 DPS to hit you with and those that are using faction or T2 launchers with appropriate skills can easily exceed 1,000 DPS.

I have not run missions in low or nul in quite some time so I will not comment on what they may be doing now, based on my old and possibly outdated old experiences you will likely run into ships that are considerably closer to their PvP fit counterparts than a typical high sec PvE fit with the T3C being very popular especially the Tengu.

TBH, those doing missions in low-sec in a PvE fit BS and do not see a cane coming to their mission space, and are hanging around near the warp in point and non-aligned for warp out, it can only be two things

1) it's a tarp

2) they are so indept to the point where it doesn't really matter what you have bring to the combat as long as it has enough DPS . Be weary of drones and missile ships though as others say

Cheers Love! The cavalry's here!
