Fly Fearless players were fun during and after the fight, where we went in without reps to keep it fun. There were a few I would recruit any time. The video made was fun to watch and the comments even more fun. Twisted

Yes we only complain as much because Complaints Department no longer exists, we have no where to go vent. but from reading some of your(and others) post's Dom i figured that the eve forums were made for complaining.

just to clarify to you especially Dom, i was explaining (not complaining) to Tora that Marmite went in WITH logi unlike he implies in his comment, as he wasn't there yet seemed it was somehow important enough to talk about.

Fun was still had by all involved it seems. Big smile

Can verify, there was logi..I was there. I can also verify that Ap0phis ditched his fleet and jumped gate (right into his demise I might add) after being engaged by the FF t1 fleet. There is also a video that confirms this. It was a gf, there's no arguing that. There's just a bit of spin coming from their side that's just untrue. Yes, the FF guys are losing a lot of ships to Marmite..but that battle was a major blow and great work from the FF guys imo. We all look forward to more gf's. Blink

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..

I too agree that FF probably had a blast, (you can tell in the video) And they did a great job holding points and baiting, Kudo's to their FC for herding the cats effectively enough to server Marmite on a platter to VMG +10 in my book GF

Ap0 was told to jump gate, and kill FF jumping gate, then he jumped into VMG, was like ohh hello, oops, the fleet wanted to know warp or fight, they decided to fight, knowing how it would probably end with 10000 VMG logi's. Like I said before, we will focus less on the KB and more on fun. Even if it's not easy, for a perfectionist like me. It was that or be so bored in Eve I would have quit. So even if the FINS thing didnt work out as planned, I'm still ok with the decision. First, I run the alliance, no one else and I was close on quiting Eve. At least now we all have more fun.

So ap0phis jumped the gate by coincidence when we showed up (OK i will give you the benefit of the doubt) but when the call was made to "stay and fight for fun" Big MachDaddy in the navy mega didn't get the memo? or warped off as he was the only Marmite not pointed by FF?

It's funny to hear this narrative from you Tora that you don't care about losses and are all about having fun now, when your members and your own actions contradict your words. shipping down to frigs and t1 ships to play station games to try and avoid fighting. holeysheet style lol. you cant really have it both ways.

I do think that mercs flying more for the fun than for the kb would be a good thing overall, just don't see that happening. people will always look to press down on any advantage they can get, in any area of space. nothing about eve is fair.
Just last week Tora thought the finns would make Marmite great again and in his own words.
"Fighting Mar,mites is hard. Imagine 2 x the strength, It will kill any enemy we will get."
I'm just saying everyone looks for a way to win and trying to say there is a right and wrong way to go about it just tells me you don't understand what a sandbox game means.

While i don't see the players choosing to lose because of someone else sense of honor, there are a few changes CCP could make for wars and also HS in general to improve things for ALL who live there, Will see what they give us to play with this winter.

FYI, that quote was given to a player that was blue to us at the time, to show we would be an even stronger blue with them in Marmites. Some look at these things in a personal way, I was in a business way. And I fully understand the sandbox. My main prio in Eve has always been Eve content. If you knew all my alts, you should know that. Blink Not telling others how to play, just saying how I do it. And I've been way to focused on perfection. Even my trow away alts are now optimal trained alts. I cant even gank on an alpha char. Ugh

Merc on Merc has always been more interesting. Sorry the finns stuff did not work out. That was shaping up to be some great content.

What I would like to see is a bit more from marmite guys. You all have in in you to land a good punch...lets get this fight going.
