So, CCP basically just says F U to the people who pay them?

To make a long story short, I bought PLEX last night at around 11pm EST. It has yet to be delivered until now, 7:21am EST the following day.

I opened a support request this morning at 8:30am, and have yet to receive even a single response, let alone a resolution to this issue.

I know some of you will say "they are flooded with complaints so it'll take time", but my rebuttal to that is...

Why in the hell haven't they taken the PLEX store offline if the damn thing is broken?

Also, I do not care if it's the middle of the night in Iceland. They are still taking peoples' money even though the system is apparently broken, so they should be online dealing with the fallout and support instead of basically saying F*ck You to those of us who spend money and pay their damn salaries.

I'm so sick of greedy companies like CCP who are extremely eager to take money from people, yet make people wait days, or maybe even weeks for support DIRECTLY RELATED to that money they took.


But then, I guess the only thing that'll come from this forum post is more censorship because how dare a paying customer complain about not receiving what they paid for, right?

I guess it's good to see they were able to make all the PLEX ADVERTISEMENTS work correctly though... just don't expect to actually get your plex once you pay for it.

Damn. One time I waited 4 days 12 hours 7 minutes and 43 seconds because PayPal screwed up. They didn't respond to my 73 calls and my bank was closed over the holidays. I didn't know what to do with my life but than I ordered pizza with 20% off-peak hours discount and I was happy again.

Ok, I'll get over it... just as soon as they remove all 10 million of the PLEX advertisements that, surprisingly, aren't broken until they fix the system and get the supposed endless amount of people who are having plex problems sorted; as opposed to continuing to take peoples' money for something that is broken.

I can't give you any help for this instance.

But in the future, do like the rest of us do. Prepare anything that needs preparing before the patch drops. And then ignore anything CCP says for at least a month after.

I suppose.. problem is, they haven't actually said anything as of yet. It's their silence that is basically saying FU because they took my money quickly enough, but can't be bothered to address the issue when what I paid for wasn't delivered.

This not a snarky reply but I suspect it may be to my advantage to be completely clueless about Plex, Arum or whatever it is and how it all works. I have three accounts that I pay with real money (OK, credit card) annually and the only in-game money I deal with is ISK. Good luck on getting your issues sorted out (stated non-sarcastically).

Yeah well, since they can't be bothered to address and fix a problem directly related to the money they eagerly accepted from me, I'm not sure that I'll be able to bother sending them more money in the future.

There are plenty of companies out there who probably don't really care about the fact that if not for paying customers, they wouldn't have a product to sell, but will least deliver the products purchased; especially considering we're talking about a digital item here... it's not like they had to ship me anything.

Just on the off chance:

1. Did you check all your accounts (or check the receipt in your email to make sure you were logged in with the right character)
2. have you logged out and back in?

In relation to 1, if you have multiple accounts, it's worth checking if you haven't yet. The email receipt should have the account name in it I think (but could be wrong).

On 2, I always find that I need to logoff and back on again before PLEX appear in my redeeming queue.

Apparently CCP forget how to spell the word customer satisfaction.

I have issues aswell and no response for several days yet.

Patience is a virtue, but this behaviour by CCP is out of bounds.

I've done all that several times. And according to their in-game help channel -- before getting muted by the ISD chat nazi's -- there are supposedly an endless supply of people having this issue... even though we all know that at least half the supposed 23,844 people currently playing the game are ISK farming bots... so I dunno.

Seems they're just really ok with taking peoples' money and then ignoring you when there's a problem.
