I had an angry tear filled rant ready about the new scanning system, why the change, don't fix things that aren't broke etc etc .

After actaully trying it for 48 hours, this dyed in the wool, conservative and rather reactionary Old Dog has it sorted.

Amazing what you can do when there's no alternative.

When i noticed on the test server that the old scanning windows weren't an option i set the new ones up on TQ and got myself used to them.
It's very easy to use and a definite improvement.
My two issues with it are: having to shut down the d-scan globe on system map because it's very distracting when scanning and the scan/analyze buttons are in different places so the old twitch movements have to be fought.
Otherwise, yeah, it's great.

Same here.

Scanning is pretty much the only thing I do in EVE, so I was a little miffed when the changes were implemented. But after getting used to the way they work ( and comfortably setting up my "work area", ie. UI ) scanning has actually become faster and more efficient than it ever was.

Old EVE advise; Adapt and all that...
