Asking for a loan of 25b ISK

Dear capsuleers of New Eden,

My name is Celengan Babi, a founder of PT. Maju Mundur, an industrial corp.

About this corp itself, I started the corp with a capital of 1.3b, but in just 2 months we netted a profit of 18b ISK with a total revenue of 121b ISK (gross).

Most of our profits come from manufacturing, although we also do station trading sometimes. We also do market analytics to determine which items are profitable to manufacture.

I would like to ask if anyone can lend our company a 25b ISK that we will spend on blueprint. We could pay back the loan and the interest in 2-3 months. As for the interest rate, we are fine with 6%. We can discuss more about this.

Also, we have our own system that we built ourselves. It's like a dashboard so that each corp members can see the company stats (industry jobs, transactions, profits, etc) without having to log into the game. We can give an access for anyone who's interested enough to lend us the money. With this tool, we can really monitor how our company progresses each day.

You can visit our website for more information regarding our corp at www.majumundur.us, but you wouldn't be able to login using SSO because the access is only enabled for corp members.

Here are some screenshots of our platform to show how our company progresses:

Industry Jobs: https://snag.gy/PKE8gi.jpg
Profits: https://snag.gy/yxDskO.jpg
Transactions: https://snag.gy/21p0bg.jpg

As for the collateral, we have a collection of BPOs that worth about 15-20b, we can use them as collateral after we made some copies for the next 3 months if you agree with that approach. I know it's smaller than the requested amount of the loan, but we can always discuss this.

Again, we would like to be transparent about this request, so if anyone is interested we can talk further on Discord (link will be given if you're interested). You can even create an alt and have the alt joined our corp so you can really see how our company performs.

My main question would be, if you are making decent volumes of isk with your current effort, why not just wait a week at current pace and buy it then without having to pay the interest?

The problem is, we always reinvest the ISK for BPOs and the rest goes for manufacturing other profitable items. With our current corp's balance and lack of capital, we couldn't possibly produce more items eventhough we exactly know that there are a lot of profitable items on the market.

As you can see in our screenshots, we mostly manufacture and sell capital modules and structures with low volumes but really high profit and fast BPO's ROI. If we could produce more similar items, we would be able to have more sell orders.

The bottleneck right now is not in the manufacturing slots, as we often have this situation where we couldn't maunfacture anything for 2-3 days but just wait until we get some items sold on the market.

That's why we need some more capital to buy more blueprints and manufacture some more items to put in the sell orders. More sell orders for various items = more chance for such low-volume items to get sold in a day and the faster we could recycle the ISK.

As for the interest, we do not mind to pay the interest as long as the percentage is reasonable.

Your character and corporation are very recent, and presumably you offer no collateral? Sounds risky to me. Lol

The other characters mentioned on your website are also all very recent (born in 2017). Sounds like a scam attempt by a good web developer to me. Lol I'd hire you for web development though.

Yes we are very recent and I'm not hiding that fact, I even stated it clearly.

It's up to everyone to judge whether we are trying to scam or not. But you can talk to me and I'll give you the access to our corp's dashboard so you can see the data yourself. Also, btw: the numbers aren't hardcoded, it comes straight from the API (cached to our DB though)

Thank you for the clarifications. Since collateral is a possibility, it should be relatively easy to find investors.

Unfortunately I'm not in a position to help out myself, since I have never even had 1 billion in Eve Online. Big smile

100 million is a LOT of money for me. Ugh

I'll cover the amount to the npc value of the bpos.

I can hold them as collateral it will accept any known third party but suggest Enorm due to high activity.

I will require 4% interest

Unfortunately we need more ISK than the NPC value of our current BPOs. Perhaps we can work out the deal further?

I know what I am asking might not be convenient for the investors since the requested amount of investment is more than the value of the collateral.

I edited my first post, I added the API key for our corp so you can check it out and hopefully it could gain your trust or any other potential investors.

Feel free to ask Enorm to value them and I'll offer a loan to 95% of that valuation. You will have to pay any fees incurred by Enorm.

I can offer you a loan at similar conditions as "noobs market orders" (i.e., full collateral must be provided, possibly through a trusted 3rd party), but I'll only ask for 3% interest. Big smile Contact me if you are interested.

If you want to make a few billion quickly, you should post a thread like this, then after you get investors block them and keep the ISKies

Just talked to Enorn last night and she said her spreadsheet hasn't been updated, but she said that the value is not anywhere near 25b.

Noted. I'll think about it.

No, this is something that I will never do.

There's a reason why I have been trying to be really transparent by giving out my corp API for everyone to see. So anyone can see how our corp progresses. We are doing fine, we just need some capital.

But I understand your concern: I am definitely a new character and I am asking for ISK more than the value of the collateral.

Still, my reputation is more important than the ISK itself, and I really do not feel comfortable when someone seems to see me as a scammer. Now I am more concerned about this rather than the loan itself.

-- POST EDITED --

We no longer open the access to our trading platform.

The reason: someone was trying to retrieve the source code of our PHP backend using Symfony debugging toolbar.
Doh, I should have known that most Eve players are techies.

Yes, that would be an option, but not for me. I prefer to play fair and square. One of these days I have amassed enough ISKies to...do something....
It's unlikely that it will ever hit me that it doesn't make any sense to play Eve like a single-player money-hoarding game.

If in the next few days we really can't convince anyone for a loan, then I would assume that it is indeed really difficult for a new corp like us to ask for such loan without 100% collateral.

Why don't you just ask for a loan that you have enough collateral for you? If you have 15BN collateral, then get a 15 BN loan. It's better than nothing, right?

OR, is the reason why it's not good enough, because then it wouldn't be an elaborate web-developer's scam? Lol

Advice taken, thanks! I'll wait til the next few days as we are still copying some blueprints anyway.

And as for the scam, again I've said earlier that you can verify the data with the API key manually. I just simply just let everyone to login to our platform to gain trust, if not then you can use other tools like Neocom for example. You got the API key, do what you want with it.

Just because we built our own platform it doesn't mean that we are scamming everyone here on Eve...

I decided to register my API key to eve-mogul to convince more people.
Check out the eve-mogul's leaderboard under "this week's leaders" here => https://trade.eve-mogul.com/leaderboards

I still have about 600-700m open sell orders on the market so the numbers should go up by the end of the day.

The question is not your level of transparancy or activeness, it's risk. There is a lot of idle ISK sat around in MD and most people that offer loans or respond to requests are just looking for easy passive income. You will not get anyone taking a punt on you. You will only get investment if the potential investors see they are not opening themselves up to risk. Simple as that.

If you want 25b liquid ISK, you're going to need to provide at least that amount in collateral valued at a firesale price - this is pretty much always below NPC. We aren't interested in your levels of research, the time you've invested, or what you think they are worth. You're going to need to accept reality!

That said. ENorn is a great third party, get together and work out a valuation.
