Imagine if every solo pilot and small corp suddenly became NPC, the wardec corps would be the ones here crying on the forums and you know what I'd tell them...I'd suggest they fight each other.

I'm telling you man, the little guy in hi-sec has more control over the game than he thinks. I say we take this control and do what the hell we want.

Hi, Did you read the whole thread? I go into more detail after the first post.

If we can somehow intercept the new players and get them to stay with us for 3 to 6 months before joining/creating a corp that would be great. We can show them what an unforgiving game eve is and give them a good talking to before they go out there and risk large sums of isk. Perhaps what I am talking about is a good definition of what an NPC corp should be.

I'm sorry, I didn't read it through. If you are going to help new players out, you are a good person. Best of luck with the project and keep us updated after a few months, or in the future i'll get to meet great people that would have left the game but because of your project they remained and subbed!

the 11% npc corp tax makes that seem like a silly rule to me, 1 man tax evasion corps ftw!

Well, he did start with "solo players and smaller corps need help", only to suddenly drop this whopper right after. Smaller corps are not wanted and I guess solo players who don't want to be in a NPC corp are also unwanted rubbish.

That's not much of a community left over after that, but at least we can point and laugh at this attempt at building a community, strangled in his crib by his own father.

You do realise every subscription has 3 character slots right? Also do you realise that some small corps and solo players are already well versed in pvp, avoidance, risk management.

The whole point of the venture is to not have to deal with wardeccs for a period of time. So if you do join and you are in a corp then it is most likely you will be decced and find it more difficult to take part in our activities.

Yes by all means come on our comms and answer questions from newer guys. There are lots of ways people in corps can still be involved.

I don't think you have a good understanding of what we are trying to achieve here, it might be an idea for you to completely ignore us and carry on doing your own thing. I'd like to make myself clear here, I'm not interested in any discussion about rolling us up into a corp or alliance or changing the venture away from it's core ideals. It's simple, people who are having a difficult time in game under a player corp can become NPC for a period of time to get a different perspective and then when they feel they are ready they can go back into a player corp.

This is what I would do, create a coalition channel just like he did with Hub Zero, I would create a core group of corps that would work together and perhaps be in a main alliance, another looser group of corps outside that who would join in the war dec as defenders 4 hours before anything became vulnerable, even moving corps to get involved. The only time they would do this is if a structure was at risk. Further to this you would have people in other corps and NPC corps who would be there ready to kill neutral RR in any engagement.

This could work, it needs two people to drive it, one who is EU and one US TZ, those people would need to be fully engaged, very motivated and able to co-ordinate to a very high level lots of loose followers, including keeping the lists uptodate and getting numbers etc.

The toughest part is getting around the defeatist attitude that many have in hisec, but I noted that there was a lot of people who wanted to do something which I saw in the AG group of players, many of which had an attitude against War Deckers.

Aaron has the capacity within himself to do this, but I am aware of at least three people who tried to do this in hisec and failed, I looked at it and decided that as I was not really EU TZ and completely out of the US TZ I could not make it work Aaron is EU TZ and in the past stayed up into US TZ.

I would really like to see something like this work and Aaron was a quite good FC when I met him and I think he can get good again and he could run effective fleets to take on the war deckers, but he has to pick his fights.

If you get enough people then put down bait citadels and pick a fight with someone, give them a good hiding making a name for yourself then avoid the inevitable massed war decs or pick them off by joining as allies in throw away corps people who have been war decked for structures. That is a key part and needs a lot of admin or someone who can make that sort of contact.

I think this could add a huge amount to play in hisec.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

As usual you have completely misunderstood the whole point of the venture. I am very tired of people trying to make this into something that it isn't. Don't get me wrong Dracvlad theres nothing wrong with your suggestion if one has the time to manage and organise all of that. Speaking honestly your suggestion is something that you yourself should champion.

We are not trying to fight any wars or make a stand against war dec corps, the people who join will simply avoid the war dec mechanic for a period of time and gain a new perspective on the game from an NPC point of view. When they feel ready they will either start a corp or join one with a better idea of what is going on with regard to war decs and pvp.

This is just a venture designed for people to take a breather from the fast paced unforgiving brutal nature of Eve. It can serve as a useful help voice channel, or simply a place for people to connect and become friends without having to join corps or alliances.

Theres no corp, no alliance, no head fc, no structures, no politics. Just people who want to play Eve on their terms for a period of time while they consider their options. Is this clear enough for you Drac?

Don't even respond to him Aaron. He isn't worth your time.

There's a difference between what you are doing and what he would do.

That is, you are doing and you are helping new players. He isn't doing anything. Just talking a big game but no actual action. That deserves no respect.

Keep doing what your doing and screw the lazy haters.

If the little guy in high sec were inclined to, he could do a lot. But thelittle guy in high sec is often the laziest guy (and sometimes the most difficult, contrary and high-maintenance guy) as I'm sure you're about to find out.
Hope your venture succeeds though, high sec has been completely killed off by bottom-feeding war deccers.

On the first sentence, not at all. Dracvlad has shown time and time again that hot air isn't worth much. It's pointless even reading most of his posts.

Secondly, what vested interest do I have? None is the only correct answer. I don't play at all in highsec and have nothing but good wishes for any project like this, no matter where in space it is or what it involved. People helping to create content for others is the best part about this game.

So what stupid post are you going to come up with now?

Confusing,? I've said the same thing almost word for word in about 15 posts, I even created a proposal document detailing what this is about. There is no kind of subterfuge going on here and I believe I have been clear and concise. What's so confusing about people becoming NPC for a period of time while they learn a bit more about PVP and avoidance and risk management?

Perhaps your perspective of the game is a very rigid one; one must be in a corp/alliance, one must have a head FC, things have to be easy to do because its a game, etc...

You seem very locked into your perspective and if anyone proposes anything different from the norm it confuses you easily.
