Risk vs reward: medical clones

Risk vs reward thinking is essential part of EVE experience. Medical clones system don't yet have this thinking activated. I propose change for this.

Capsuleer stations could give boosted capsule when you die and you are rebord in capsuleer station.
- High sec gives capsule with +2 warp core strength.
- Low sec gives capsule with +4 warp core strength.
- Null sec gives capsule with +6 warp core strength.
- There could also be price for boosted capsule and price would be same as jump clone cost.

Comments are welcome for my idea.

edit:
- You could also buy boosted capsule when you install jump clone in capsuleer station.

Why? Pretty much the only way to lose a pod is:
1. Being bad.
2. Smartbombs.
3. Bubbles.
Warp core strength won't save you from smartbombs or bubbles, and being bad shouldn't be catered to.

I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

No. If you are dumb enough to be locked onto and scrammed in an instantly warping pod, then you are just bad.

You missed one: lag and a fast locking ship. I've lost pods that way despite spamming the warp out command as my ship was going down. Warp core strength would potentially help in that case by buying you a moment of extra time for the server to recognize your attempt to warp out.

It's still a stupid idea though, as the location for your clone has way more to do with where you're currently operating than any concept of risk vs. reward. Setting your clone to a nullsec station instead of a highsec market hub doesn't add any interesting risk vs. reward gameplay, it just (potentially) adds some tedious extra jumps before you can go buy a new ship and get back to playing the game. And the players in well-supplied nullsec alliances get a free pod bonus for setting their clone to the lowest-risk home station in the most convenient location to respawn.

This basically amounts to bad luck, and still isn't really something to reward or even really balance against. Bad luck happens to everyone sooner or later, for every pod that dies to lag there's probably one that lives because of it too.

I'm not saying that it is anything besides bad luck. I'm just pointing out that people lose pods for reasons besides being bad and smartbombs/bubbles, and pods with boosted WCS strength would reduce those losses. The fact that this would be an effect, good or bad, doesn't mean that I endorse the OP's stupid idea or any form of built-in WCS for pods.

Actually, assuming they could volley your pod, this wouldn't help you in the slightest. An insta svipul is just going to pop you without the need for tackle anyway.
