Drones vs sleepers

Been trying ishtar latetly. for two days was fine no problems in C3, but today every wave every anomaly aggroes my geckos straight away. tried to jump into gila with hammerheads same. what the heck is going on??how can you do anything if you need to scoop drones straight away?
gila and ishtar was duo to tengu.
any ideas why?

yup, drones are a painful way to run WH sites

That is why Rattle with sentries rocks. You don't move, scoop when aggro, release later, repeat, no travel times, damage right away.

If you run it with 3 or more ships, they then to shoot the ship more.

No local in null sec would fix everything!

I don't have any data to support this, but my subjective impression is that there are "good" drone days and "bad" drone days. Some days, they're all over drones and others they ignore them, even when all other things are equal. It's caused me to wonder if there's a random drone aggression variable that resets each day.

Try tomorrow. It may be fine again.

This and I keep lights for the frigates so I'm not wasting ammo on them.

Are you target painting the first ship before releasing drones? And taking out frigates first?

I did not notice, that painter would draw agro on ship from drones. You shoot triggers last, in some waves battleships in some frigz.

today is not like any other day tho, I was running C3's in a gila and every single wave was aggressing my drones.
Which is actually not bad since drones were holding battleship aggro 100% of the time - and bs can't even hit them!

Sleepes hate ewar and remote reps too. Paint them, thatll help. Or run C3s with twin RR Sentry Domis. Once you have your cap transfer and RR going, the sleepers should completely forget about your drOnes. Thats been my experience.
