There are also japanese drawings of anthropomorfic Tanuki's with their scrotums stretched into blankets, anthropomorfic faces and a lot of different other stuff, even drums. Japan perfected WTF level thru millenia. 👍

I think that the woman was driving first and the guy after her. Or she was joining his lane from a side. Somehow she had her car positioned in his way and he hit the back of it from a side. Maybe there were other cars around him and he could not avoid her or it happened very fast. In all of this accident he was more injured despite having the crash zone in front of him and airbag. 30 years ago he would be probably critically injured or dead, and she would still be relatively unscathed. Its good that her car was not made sturdier because more energy would have to be absorbed by his car.
