Can you be decloaked by a ship in warp?

While sitting in space, I sometimes see ships that will shoot by at presumably warp speeds. They will appear ever so briefly on your overview when this happens.

Which brings the question... If you are sitting cloaked in the middle of space, in line with a warp path, can one of those passing ships decloak you if they pass within 2000m of you?

Yes, they can, if they are at your spot at one tick. So if you create a bookmark during warp, and then sit there cloaked, chances are another ship warping the same route at same speed as you, comes closer than 2000 during one tick ... ships warping at different speed appear at different spots during each tick (not sure if warp speed is an integer multiple of yours).

I'm my own NPC alt.

Yes, I had it happen to me at the very first highsec citadel bash. Several times, as a matter of fact. I ended up moving to a different location,Big smile.

That's a good reminder not to go AFK unless you're cloaked in an off-axis deep safe spot.

confirmed. Once I saw an Astero on my Overview when warping, and after a sec when I checked the D-scan, it dissappeared.

Yes.

I often use Smartbombing Battleships with a cloak, sitting 6km away from the Gate, aligned towards another Gatepath.

Everything that warps to that gate and lands 4-5km away from me out of warp at zero on the gate...decloaks me.
