Has anyone wondered which would win, the CONCORD commander battleship or the Drifters?

I know Concord is essentially the NPC police but I'd like to see them get their butts kicked or kick a couple drifters in the teeth.

I'd like to see ISD's in G-strings mud wrestle, thunderdome was overrated.

Plus I could make an ISD bikini wrestling calendar.

And the series highlight video.

Any ISD's up for it??

They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Alliances will rise and fall, but one constant in Eve is the smouldering dumpster that is C & P.

I think Concord would win because Concord wins all the time.

Lore-wise the Drifters have the upper hand. In-game CONCORD is just ridiculously overpowered and quite literally unkillable.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Drifters might take you in the long run, but they still need to be there to do that.
Concord simply removes you from space before you can think what your second volley might do.

Last time I tried, concord killed my sieged dread before a titan could think about DD'ing it.
Killed a pvp tanked Avatar just about as quick.

CONCORD ships have 99.99% omniresist. Drifter DD hits for 500k alpha IIRC, thus, a Drifter DD would cause some 50 hp damage to CONCORD.

At least, based on ingame stats.

people pretty much figured out how to farm drifters, so I'm going to say concord.

Someone in the first corp I was in killed a concord battleship at some point I believe not sure the circumstances and it would have been a very long time ago. There was a saved fit from it with the lol item names, etc. in corp fittings.

I'm guessing it was from before they did the megahit thing.

Yes Concord used to be tankable and killable early on in the game and CCP changed that quickly thanx to M0o and there shenanigans.

But as to the OP Concord would win based on what is in game atm. Like Linus Gorp stated lore wise Drifters would win hands down.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

There are mission spawned concord NPCs that can be killed. They are in a couple of the career missions might also be some in a few regular missions. They don't seem to be controlled by any sort of AI though they basically fly a circle and they ignore aggression taken against them.

the typical concord ship in highsec is designed to be unfarmable, they cheat in pretty much every way to ensure you explode.

and yea there is supposedly some mission concord that shows up in pirate missions

I can't look, and not gonna look.
Interesting question, OP. Seems the consensus is CONCORD are a different breed. Demigods, and they always roll 20s.

IIRC from a lore perspective CONCORD ships are built with the very best techs of every empire, all combined in ships whose only function is to obliterate capsuleer vessels. Unlike gate gus, they're not meant to be a joke (are gate guns still a thing, btw?), but to keep capsuleers under a certain control.

Of course, that's for game reasons. I've always thought that if empires wnated to get rid of capsuleers, they could just mess with the mind transfer process.
