Forum moderating

Through some period of time I have been observing how wide ISD stuff use their rights on this forum. Especially blocking topics.
The recent is https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=515474&find=unread.

I voice dissent to such a policy. There wasn't harassment or EULA breaking. If there were post out of tread then ISD stuff should do it's job and remove them. If they are too lazy for this then this is not the reason to block topics.
If such a practice continue I think every normal person should leave this forum and the game maybe too.

was following that post , would say with all the bickering it had to be closed , some players just took that to far , the isd should have stopped a lot of the bickering and stuff and kept it on topic .

so yes isds should have acted sooner rather than let it go that far .

Mehh, why should we expect them to do extra work? Roughly the same thing is discussed by roughly the same people in 2-3 threads all the time.

Lol all the normal people already did leave.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

I wouldn't call closing a 56 page long thread "blocking a topic". That would be a bit over sensible, wouldn't it?

You would welcome a "whining about how EVE is to hard threads will get closed" part in the EULA.

I do think locking certain threads only makes them more likely to appear again in future. People get involved in the discussion on one side or another, then get blue balled by the ISDs. Next the only way for them to continue the discussion is in another thread. Why not have a couple 100 page threads on the few sticking points, like cloaky camping gets.
