Windows Server 2012 and EVE Online

So, the main theme is in topic. Is it possible to install and play game on Windows Server 2012? Does someone try to do it?
Yeah, I know about driver issues and about problems with videocard etc...

Depends. What's your specs?
And desktop or laptop?

In short: it's perfectly possible.

Longer story:
Yes, but in my experience not all video drivers or special hardware supports windows server 2012 or newer.

If you install it on a laptop there's a very high chance your mousepad will stop working and there are no replacement drivers that are compatible. Your backlighting will likely also stop working. Which has an interesting story behind it.

If you run newer hardware I can pretty much guarantee it will work fine, but highly advice you to UPDATE for a smoother user experience. This goes for all games.

How I know this? I my self run server 2016 because of some nifty feautures but no budget for a dedicated server.

Just download Nvidea's GeForce experience and you should be fiiiiine. :p
