Self organizing meet-up in a ship between Turku (Finland) and Stockholm (Sweden). Planned ship (Baltic Princess) leaves Turku on Fri 19.05.2017 at 20:15. Same ship leave Stockholm on Fri 19.05.2017 at 07:10 and Sat 20.05.2017 at 07:10 (depending if one likes to be there before or after Finns).

Currently there is no other planned activities other than chatting with fellow past, current or future EVE players. We will look into reserving some conference rooms or so for Saturday if we come up with any use for them. If you have interest of giving a talk about anything, please feel free to post here.

If possible, remember to wear something EVE related so others can identify you. EVE Fanfest happens before so you can buy swag from there or from eve store if you have none.

Cost of ticket for the ship is around 80 euros (depending when you reserve or if you can be part of group reservation). From Sweden the trip is around 20-30 euros at the time of writing this. Remember that food and drinks on the ship will cost extra. Book ship tickets from Tallink Silja

Arctic Light and Unpublished Chapter can be considered as organizers, so you can contact either of these organization for more info.

Important info for the event!

Common info:
* Do arrive to the harbor early (view schedule below)!
* Group tickets and name stickers can be retrieved from organizers in front of harbor (or inside if there is bad weather). Please find us, so we know you are present.
* Please wear some EVE related shirt or such if possible!
* Remember to bring swimwear for sauna on Saturday morning (if you join the activity)
* Think (and write down) some good questions that you would like to present to CCP in the Q&A part.
* CCP Larrikin is game designer in Team Five-O (like CCP Fozzie). Team Five-O does sandbox development including module/ship balance and new features like Citadels.
* CCP Mimic is development producer for Team Five-O. She takes care of team’s needs and connections to other parts of organization. She also does the o7 show with CCP Guard.
* In other words, they probably don’t know how new suns were coded.

Arriving to harbor:
* There is some parking slots for cars next to the harbor (in Turku side at least)
* From the train station and center of Turku, you can take bus to the harbor (line number 1 from town square “kauppatori - satama”) or walk.
* Email us if you can’t find enough information!

Time schedule:

Fri 18:30 - Arriving to harbor
Fri 20:15 - The ship leaves the harbor
Fri 20:15 - Buffet (people with group ticket or you can buy it separately)
Fri 21:00 - Meeting other EVE players all around the boat (aka. pub crawl)! Do find new faces!

Sat 8:10 - The ship leaves Stockholm (7:10 local time)
Sat 7:10-8:30 - Possibility for a breakfast buffet (need to buy separately)
Sat 9:00 - Sauna
Sat 10:30-12:00 - Possibility for a brunch (need to buy separately)
Sat 12:00 - EVE Finfest: Will start with presentation from corporations
Sat 13:00 - EVE Finfest: Few presentations from players
Sat 14:00 - EVE Finfest: CCP Q&A
Sat 15:00 - Presentation over. Please eat and drink something!
Sat 17:00 - Let’s meet on the deck for promo pictures (with weather reservation)
Sat 19:15 - The ship is back in Turku
Sat → After party in Turku!

All times are in Finnish time (EEST / UTC +03:00). Please note that your phone might update the clock in Stockholm harbor! The times for events provided by the ship might be a bit wrong. Please consult the schedule in cabin to be sure!

You can share pictures or stories about the event with social media tags #finfest2017 #perkele #tweetfleet (please use at least the first two, so people can filter out Jacksonville event).

Now if any CCP guys decide to come over, I say we make them walk the plank and keelhaul them. If not, then it will be you Raphendyr. Yarr!

As i going to one of this organizers. It would be great to get more finns on boat. Swes are welcome to ride along =).

Definitely. I can't promise that all of the content would be provided in English, but someone next to you can translate for sure.

If you have Finnish friend and are interest of group ticket, you can ask the friend to help you to fill the form (last link in the post).

Of course you can just reserve the ticket from the Tallink Silja directly and just let me know that you are arriving, so I can inform you about meeting place or other related info.
