This morning i just noticed a drone Ui feature......

and that is a tiny button "mark drones as favorite for launching" is there anyway of duplicating this button for other groups of drones as currently you can only mark 1 group at a time

Given how there's only one hotkey for launching a group it's quite obvious that it's not possible. WHY they haven't actually completed the whole idea by introducing multiple groups is beyond me, they probably got scared to hell when they realised they had created something that actually works, makes sense and is useful so they just dropped everything on the ground and ran away to their safe spaces.

mmmm?

you can have shortcuts for tube launcher etc if it's what you mean
you can find them in setting/shortcut/fighters

It doesn't work or partially. Or my procedure is wrong.
I set warrior group as fav. However when I clicked lauch drone, there came three warriors and two salvage drones.

well futher on the button does not actually work for me it open the group of drones up but does not actually fling them into space :( so not such a good discovery after all

It's a new feature with the last patch.

There's a hotkey you can set under "Hotkeys" -> "Drones" in the settings menu marked "Launch Drones" or something similar. When you press that hotkey it'll launch the group of drones you have marked as if you had right-click launched them or dragged the group into space.

Favorite group is stored per hull type so you can set a different one for each type of hull you use.

yeah i found that but it would be good if "the button" worked as intended or maybe it is working as intended...broken

Is it for five particular drones, or is it by drone type, like Hornet II and spamming the launch button would launch more Hornets to replace the ones I've lost?
