I would like an option to deactivate the shielding of my pod so when my ship blows up, my pod explodes at the same time. don't care if it creates a killmail or not.

EDIT - Or just let me leave the door open on my pod...

...Why? Just...don't warp your pod out and whoever killed your ship will likely finish it for you.

If only that easy sometimes, 200 ships a month @ 2 mins = 6.5 hours.....

Can't you self-destruct in a pod?

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=6875494#post6875494 - Ship mounted explosives. Because explosions and Jita chaos.

Getting podded is faster than self-destructing a pod iirc.

But what about your pod's armor?! Yes I'm being facetious.

I could see it... personally I'd rather deny them the killmail, and I think they'd rather avoid the security hit in lowsec that would accompany an auto-podding. My choice to deny the killmail is certainly a preference, but the accompanying sec status hit isn't really my choice to make.

If you're fine with losing your pod, ask them to give you a pod express home. If they don't want to take the sec status hit, then it justifies my concern... if not, you go home fast regardless.

Edit: strictly speaking, your pod ejects from your ship, and somehow the massive explosion doesn't seem to cause it any damage. Disabling the ejection mechanism would be more "story-wise" what you mean yes?

That's why I left the door open...doh

Honestly never realised how much eve game time I was missing by having to self-destruct when not podded in low, don't care about lossmail.

Can we also remove the self-destruct timer and void killmails for self-destructs?

Let's get rid of killmails all together while we're at it, right? Would be just a convenience option to your suggestion..

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

To be very clear I do not care anything about the kill/lossmails, just my precious time, as everyone should.

keeping pods on grid instead of popping them is a strategic decision. This just makes it easier for people who are killed to reship and get back into the fight.

this would be nice. as you get judged no matter what by your kill board.

Oh you lost an expensive ship in pvp, your a noob even though it was 15 to 1.
oh you killed a bunch of people because they were fighting others, your a noob since you cant pvp 1v1.
