Have been watching these for a couple months now and can't seem to figure them out. Early on they were heavily manipulated, reaching prices of 1.8b and now they are roughly 830mil.

What is your forecast where the price will settle? Is it low now because of the new patch and people are dumping onto markets because they got nerfed? Let me know what you think.

Also whoever was manipulating prices, get back to it :P

Rorquals got nerfed, drone materials had their drop rate increased, Rorquals got an even bigger nerf. I think that's about it.

You see the drone prices returning to above 1bil prices, or continue to drop?

If you are building them at an engineering complex with a rig, the build cost is now roughly 500 million ISK. I expect demand will remain steady - Rorquals are still very capable ships, just not as overpowered as they were. A commodity market is unlikely to sustain 40% profit margins for long. I expect prices to fall and stabilize in a range centered on 600 mill if build cost stays roughly where it is now.

I have a feeling that they will continue to drop as the components will no doubt decrease as well. It can take a while for people to farm he components and catch up with demand. Also I think that the very high price was caused by the initial purchases of drones as more and more people skilled into the ship. Once everyone that wants to fly one has got one then drones will only need to be bought to replace losses.

Look at the Sisters lines of ships as an example, Stratios started out at 600+ Mil and took a year to get down to below 300mil, now they are 200mil. Even after they brought out the Drone tokens the pricing still dropped very slowly.

And thats another good indicator of where the price is heading. They dropped from 50 to 7 mil.

One thing will push the Price up for sure.... The use of Rorq's to mine moon goo under station weapon safety, when the new system and stations get addedAttention I predict heavy rorq use.

I also think it will be the Key in negating *some* of all the extra time needed to get moon goo, over the old passive system.

That moon mining system is going to throw the market into a tailspin.
It's gonna be great.
