Bookmark tabs order changing (Bug?)

Just to clarify, i have my bookmark tabs (I.E Inventory, People & Places, Personal Assets, FPS Monitor) in the order shown in parentheses.

I've noticed when i undock from a station the order in which my bookmark tabs changes from this Inventory, People & Places, Personal Assets, FPS Monitor to this FPS Monitor, Personal Assets, People & Places, Inventory.

I admittedly prefer my tabs in the first order i explicitly mentioned and therefore am wondering if there is a way to get my bookmark tabs to stay in the order i have them in and not have them suddenly switch positions?

Any relevant and helpful advice would be welcome.

I'm afraid thats normal in Eve. Its the same with stacked chat windows, they'll randomly switch order.

I suppose it is a bug and you could file a bug report (F12 ingame) if it really bothers you. But as its been like it for at least 9 years that I know off, I'm sure it'll be a very low priority for the devs.

I understand. It could be worse than the random switch order.

I'll file a bug report ingame but don't expect it to be fixed anytime soon as it would certainly be a low priority as you said.

Thank you ;)

That's one of the problems with older games. There are bugs that everyone has lived with for so long there is no rush to fix it. If the game was new it would be on a bug list to be fixed right away because people wouldn't put up with it. It's not a big deal, but frustrating and it takes a while to figure out you're not doing anything wrong it's just broke.
