The following is not a complaint - just seeking help.

I've been having issues loading fits that I've previously saved, and I wonder if I'm simply doing something wrong.

First, are ammunition and scripts / charges included / loaded from the Item hangar during the fit loading?

For example, I load my Golem's Missile Guidance Computer with a precision script, and the Torp launchers with torps. Then I save the fit. Later, upon loading the fit, with the precision script and sufficient torps sitting in my Item hangar, a couple of interesting things happen:
- It tells me it couldn't load the missile precision script. Even though it's in my main Item hanger
- While it does not load torps into the launchers, it does NOT warn about this. (As opposed to the MGC script generating a warning)

Other modules, such as a specific shield hardener, load just fine directly from the Item hangar to my ship fitting.

Second, is an accurate reproduction of the ship's cargo bay inventory part of the load / save process? I save fits with exactly 160 Jav torpedoes in my ships cargo, but when loading the fit, less than that appear.... even though I can confirm there are plenty of them available in my Item hangar.. However, it did just fine and got the exact correct number on my normal and Rage torps in the cargo bay.

Needless to say, I'm a bit confused. Big smile

By item hangar, do you mean the cargobay of your ship?

Nope - two different things. On the left, there is the icon representing 'Inventory'. When I open that window while docked in my mission hub station, along the left hand side, there are some top-level categories. One of them is 'Item hangar', which is what I'm referring to.

When I say ship cargo or ship cargo bay, I am referring to the stuff inside the ship cargo bay, but not loaded into any modules.

Does that make more sense?

Sounds to me like you're experiencing a bug.

First try clearing all cache files in Eve's Esc menu - 'Reset Settings' tab.

Then afterwards if the issue is still present, submit a Bug Report.

Good luck to you.

Happens to me a lot aswell. What I think happens is eve tries to load the scripts before modules, thus failing.
Strategic cruisers for exemple still don't work with this correctly because of the subsystems changing the hardpoint layout.

Yep. It only loads what the fit has as cargo into the cargobay.

I find this especially anoying with things like capboosters or ancillary repair systems, because they have a loooong reload time and I always find out when i've already undocked :P
