Supply Chain Management skill not good enough

I've completed something that's 50 jumps away I can't get to anymore

it would be nice to complete that so I can craft things elsewhere

I'm not saying to make it easier for somebody to complete a task instantly

here's my ideas one give us an option to trash a job we can't finish even after it's completed

second idea add a new skill where you can complete a task anywhere it will just take a few days for the object to be delivered so you don't have to go over there

and also sorry if my English is slightly broken

It'd take you what, ten minutes to get into an interceptor and fly close enough to complete it?

nobody wants to travel 50+ jumps in to hostile space

even with a interceptor it's nice to be immune to Bubbles but you're not immune to Smart bombs

the area I would have to travel through people know I'm coming so they will be prepared to kick my ass do whatever they want before I get there even if my ship is the fastest in the game

and plus I would like to be lazy I don't want to travel that far for something it's garbage

Nobody wants to, which is why people plan in such a way that avoids this eventuality...

You didn't do the planning so now you have to do it the hard way. Welcome to Eve.

Fortunately if it's 50 jumps away, you only need to go 25 if you have the skill to V, and it's not actually that difficult to get past a smartbomber, unless there are about five of them, or someone's using a titan again.

It's...really, really easy to go 25 jumps to do something like this. I've done it myself often enough. Don't expect CCP to change the game for you just so you can be lazy.

I can update my PI from anywhere in the cluster, even on planets that are inside wormholes, while I'm out in K-Space.

I agree that travelling 50 jumps to press 1 button isn't one of the most engaging activities in EVE. Would be good to have some more flexibility to be able to deliver jobs remotely.

You can trash items from anywhere in the cluster through the assets window already, so if it's something you didn't want anymore, just the extra ability to deliver industry jobs would be enough, as you could then trash the items anyway.

Deliver, then contract.
Ooops, I can now send them to someone else while on the other side of New Eden.

This is reasonable. You shouldn't be able to move stuff remotely, but you should be able to assign it remotely. If someone else does the moving, where's the harm in that? Delivering a job isn't moving it, it's just assigning it to cargo instead of build queue. Either we should be able to deliver at any range (assuming it goes to an unlimited space cargo such as station, citadel), or an undelivered but completed job should not count toward our job total.
