What to do with a bad fit Absolution?

After flying a Harbinger around for a while, I kinda got mad at its glass cannoness.

So I havent really played in 2 years but have been training my skills up, I think I'm @ or around 35mil skill points. I got an absolution fitted with t2 beams and I'm pretty much skill capped at flying this thing, except I didn't go for any of the command ship stuff I just wanted a newer shinier harbinger with a little more beef to the hull.

But I've got really nothing to do. I never read about command ships, not really sure what combo's of skills, fittings I should but strapping on this thing. I just went ultra noob and generic and boosted resistances up to +80% threw 2 Medium Armor Rep2's on it and made sure it was cap stable.

I am maxed out for 5 amar drone2's on it as well. Just feels like a big sniney boat that really has no mission or goal. I havent been active for a while just laying low and training skills. I was going to start training shield skills to ad just a little bit more tank to it, maybe start training for missiles and switch over to a damnation.

I don't mind losing it, I think I could buy 5-6 more of them if need be. It's my capitol ship, my best one and I just have no use for it and with my skill set people really have no use for me.

I assume you mean you fit a shield harb because I'm having a hard time imagining a glass cannon armour fit.

I read through your post about three times and I'm still trying to figure out where your problem is. You had a Harb, you wanted more tank so you bought an Abso. From what you said it sounds like you've got atleast a decent fit on it. What exactly is the problem you're running into?

Pick one of these to do:

Ideally one which your Absolution can handle.

I am also a bit surprised you might think the Harbi is a glass cannon probably just the way you fit it.

If you want to do something fun with your Absolution, then undock in it and take some friends of yours to nullsec or lowsec and let them kill you. Killmails make most EVE players pretty happy, and an Absolution killmail is a pretty nice one as far as sub-capital killmails go.

or make new friends by going to lowsec or nullsec and letting random people kill you.

And a sudden plunge in the sullen swell. Ten fathoms deep on the road to hell.

Watch youtube videos of the Abso soloing small gangs, think you can do the same, go to lowsec and die horribly.

Good day:

See Absolution.

The Fail Heap Challenge forum tends to be a good place to get a fit; and either use it as is or experiment with the fit.

Over time, you will see posters like Suleiman Shouaa, Wensley, Lady Shaqunia and others who typically can be counted on for fits that have been battle tested.

Thank you.

I think the problem started when you trained tech 2 Amarr drones. You know if you keep buying them, it will just encourage people to build more of them instead of something more useful like passive targeting systems.
