What happened to EVE Updates?

When the website EVE Updates was rolled out a few years ago it was billed as the place to go to catch up on past changes, and view a road map for the future of Eve. Now it seems to be barely maintained with little or no view of the future except for one dusty idea that got kicked down the road last year. Some fairly significant changes have been announced for March 14th any yet nothing on EVE Updates. CCP have you given up on having a developmental road map? Are you purely in reactive mode with development until further notice and the site is no longer needed, at least as a forward looking tool? Let us know so we can delete the bookmark.

They will fill it more after Fanfest, when they anounce things and stuff.

should they personal mail you their ideas and suggestions so you can accept or reject them?

would this satisfy you? :-)

I think maybe they let a few things slip today they didn't intend to:

1. New mining mechanics and new asteroids
2. New chat feature that works even if the server is down
3. New forum software
4. Vexor/Ishtar update
5. T3C rebalance
6. New exoplanet search in Project Discovery (already announced)
7. Further NPE update (some command centre addition)
8. Reactions moving to the industry UI (not unexpected with drilling platforms coming)

Seems to be back to what it was before now.

How you got that out of my post I have no idea. Maybe English is not your first language or you have other cognitive issues.

Now is a time of quiet, before the (fanfest news) storm. If we could be a fly on the wall in the CCP offices, we would probably be swatted aside by a whirlwind of activity right now.

They used to ban a lot of miners/botters before fanfest too, so they could look good at fanfest. Do they still do that? :)

Not this year it seems, we haven't seen the normal glut of "why u ban me" threads on reddit.

Seems like every dev studio I've paid attention to for the past 2 decades eventually stops updating their updates page, usually they only keep it running for a max of about 2 months. So by that metric, they've done alright. From that point studios either stop communicating entirely, or they move their updates to the forums. When they stop communicating entirely, they've pretty much got maybe 1 or 2 years left in them, tops.

It generally gets updated as we have more features to announce.

Right now, we're off the back of a major expansion (Ascension) and we're planning to talk about a lot more in the coming weeks in the run up to, and at Fanfest.

Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks Smile

Your leaks are all over /r/eve. Not sure what the point in holding back is. Your thunder got stolen by whoever updates your updates page.

...and messy. Perhaps even very messy.

Also, to Jeremiah Saken, forget the buckets. Bring those 5 gallon jerricans over there.

I was thinking about bathtubs but swimming pools may be better.

Maybe when they nerf (sorry, "rebalance") T3Cs we can finally get T3B (battleships baby).

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
