Only if you afk mining. If you can launch MTU and do jetison very often - its a Gnosis. Mix of mining upgrades and cargohold expanders in low slots. 5 mining lasers + 2 mining laser upgrades still gives you more m3 / minute and you still have 2300 m3 cargohold buffer. 5 drones is better defense as well.

Compared to the Venture, this seems like a pointless waste of time and money. Also it physically hurts me to see a good ship like the Gnosis abused like this.

when it comes to mining yield is king, also the gnosis can fit an alright buffer and has decent drones to defend vs npc rats. If you are playing in a group more yield makes sense and you can just keep giving the ore to your hauler so your cargo isn't a big limitation.

imo it is defiantly a better idea to not mine at all, but that is another conversation.

Paid subscription and a skiff. If you're limiting yourself to alpha - the odds of a happy ending are pretty slim.

Use the alpha clone to get a hang of the game. If you like it - pay the man and enjoy the other 95% of the game.

More like mining yield is the Crimson King, in my opinion. If you have fun flying around in a mining-Gnosis, knock yourself out. Most Alphas won't have the money to spend on something absurd like that, though. It's bad advice when the Venture is perfectly fine.
