High sec ganking with expendable toons revisited

I love how people say "ganking is more difficult than ever now" Ive ganked to try it, it was easy and boring, now with citadels you can sit 500k km off of a gate aligned even after having concord called after you and wait for the timer to end and warp off and do it again.

and its already in the eula of being against the rules if you biomass to avoid issues like low security status so you can keep ganking

Did that carebear just admit to evading concord?

Alpha accounts however are expendable accounts so problem is still here. I proposed solution for this. Alpha accounts can suicide gank in high sec only one time per half hour.

Nothing is expendable, your basic alpha right out of the box is nowhere near as good as a well trained (sp wise) gank alt. Equally if you fire up a lot of alphas and discard them it will flag up as odd to CCP.

Are you saying you can gank a ship, fly to tether range and then the citadel will protect you from concord (via the tether mechanics)?

Could be but I find the idea plausible.

So ganking is easy because you risk all accounts being banned by doing things that are against the TOS?

It's against the TOS to biomass/role new characters to avoid consequences of ganking. Report people who you think are doing that.
Sonya, you're never going to know who is recycling alts, because we don't know people's names or account-names. How could we possibly report people? Even if you used an API script to check thousands of characters daily to see if they had gone to Doomheim, how do you then prove they did it to avoid ganking? What does a disposable alpha account holder care? It's totally unenforceable, but:

Ganking is fine. Don't be silly or lazy, unless you're prepared to cover the costs of being silly or lazy.

End of debate.

If it's a 10 day old character who knows the mechanics of ganking, chances are they aren't a newbie. Report suspected people to CCP and let them sort it out. They see more than is in an API, you know that, right?

End of debate.

Cristl,
you watch too much tv. There is no substance you can inject someone to "tell the truth".

However there is a substance that can make you susceptible to suggestion and no, I won't get into that further.

*gasp* Really!? You're going to say it takes more than seconds for chloroform to knock someone out, or to smother with a pillow next! At least we can still be thrown around by explosions and not suffer any concussive damage to our lungs though, right?

To Sonya: but what exactly is suspicious behaviour? By definition a Ganker hasn't been biomassed, and a biomassed character isn't doing any ganking.

If Joe Bloggs from Bedford is using a horde of disposable alts, we will never know will we? All the accounts can have different emails and IPs.

Anyway, I think ganking is in an okay spot, so I've said my piece.

As a serious question though, and to perhaps draw upon elitatwo's towering knowledge of barbiturates, why is the USA having difficulty sourcing drugs for lethal injections? Can't the government just start a company and simply make appropriate benzos and barbiturates (or equivalent). They can't all be under patent still, they've been around for ages.

Can the government not set up a private company? But if not, surely they can create a government department that can manufacture chemicals. Surely as long as these pass the 'cruel and unusual' test, then aren't they good to go?

Is this one of those decisions that must pass at state level, and any given state lacks authority to start a chemical production facility? Hmm, that might be it actually.

Anyone know?

This may not be answer you were looking for but on the topic of lethal injection, the USA had a problem with the drugs that were supposed to be used for executions.
The almighty USA could not provide the "right" chemicals for lethal injections. Long story short, a German pharma company provided and all the prisoners on death row died as they were supposed to.

Another funny fact about tri-chloride-methane is that it increased the "patient" to a 40% higher risk of getting cancer. It will knock you out though.

I was asking why not though. It's not a technical problem: I could synthesise them based on rusty knowledge from my masters degree. It has to be something bureaucratic.

As for chloroform's carcinogenicity, your figure of 40% is a little disingenuous: there was a study in mice that showed a 36% increase in certain cancer rates when given doses of 138 mg/kg/day for 78 days straight (CDC) . That's not really comparable to a surgery patient. The main danger for surgery is more acute: it can kill quite easily!

Just quoting what I read. Never trust a study you haven't conducted yourself. Oh and I think they use different chemicals for surgery.
But let's not stray too far of topic or people get mad.

It seems that lot of high sec ganking happens with expendable toons. Toon is deleted after it is used for high sec ganking and some even use alpha accounts for this. I have thought that high sec ganking with expendable toons should have consequences.

Omega account expendable toons:
- If you delete toon with kill rights or capsuleer bounty then kill rights and capsuleer bounty become account wide meaning all toons in same account share kill rights and capsuleer bounties.

Alpha account expendable toons:
- You get criminal flag when you gank someone in high sec. Alpha accounts should get half hour criminal flag that is not removed when your ship is destroyed. This still does not allow destroying your pod but you cannot fly any ship for half hour. There could also be 30 minute log off timer meaning you cannot log in any other toon in any account in 30 minutes.

Many high sec freighter ganks include up to 100+ capsuleers. There should be easy way to set kill rights for every capsuleer in your kill mail. Setting them one by one can be quite work.

Comments are welcome for my idea.

I like your ideas;
But im afraid that CCP favore a gangers, not ppl being ganged;
As i think most of the EVE players live in NULL Secs, Low Sec and ENJOY the game killing "innocent" players and if CCP would change anything to that - they would lose a LOT of active subscriptions;

They don't care about new players, as they are FOOD for Hord,Goons,Code and other Gang community;
