Is there a way to use wincfg with the Evelauncher? My Eve client keeps minimizing when I click on a window in my 2nd monitor.

put winecfg in the launcher custom wine command.
"run eve"
change setting
put wine back in the custom wine

I'm feeling kind of thick here this morning. What syntax do I use to get winecfg to work?

in the custom wine option, just write winecfg instead of wine.

then launch eve (winecfg will load instead of eve)

You do your change, quite winecfg

then go back in the launcher setting and replace winecfg back to wine.

EDIT : That will not work if you are using CCP wine, it work only for custom wime.

You can also run winecfg under an alternate prefix like this: (shown pointing to the default eve profile)

WINEPREFIX=/home/USERNAME/.eve/wineenv winecfg

Don't forget to turn on CSMT and VAAPI on the staging tab if you are using wine-staging for a nice responsiveness boost. :)

No sure why you want to mess around with winecfg, but what you describe is typical if you have the in-game graphic settings for Windowed or Fullscreen set to Fullscreen, try changing it to Fixed Window.

If you're using Wine 2.0, the Windows version of the launcher should work now.

A signature :o

Thanks, I'm recompiling wine with vaapi support. Will see the result.

No difference except less load on the CPU (using Gallium-9 so my bottleneck is not the CPU)
