Drones set-aggressive
Drones set- Focus Fire

Drones with enemies present - do not engage aggressively
Drones set to focus fire - drones MOSTLY focus fire, but normally do not

For the first one, if the enemies aren't attacking you drones just sit there. Once you're aggressed the drones attack the thing that aggressed you.
For the second one, file a bug report?

I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

Player/NPC attacks me/drones sit idle. This has been a problem and logged since 2013......

If you launch the drones after the enemy has aggressed you, the drones will ignore them. The drones only trigger on the start of aggression, not on ongoing aggression...

Maybe it's a problem on your end, everyone else seems to be doing fine...
